That is the thing isn't it, it is all proportional. My debt is massive to me and has taken ages to pay off and you have paid off a quarter of my total debt in a week. I really don't know how you do it!

I'll let your OH off then Wendz, and it's definitely nice not to be classed as overweight by a toy!!

It IS all proportional, I only have £300 left on my OD but am panicking at the thought of having it paid off in 6 weeks. And Dinah although you say it's a big amount to you, you have to remember that your last lot of debt was paid off with lots of little 99p ebay sales and the like, all adds up! :)

Aye I'm hoping to get the remaining 2k cleared very quickly, guess a canny bit depends on how things go with the doctor, if he signs me off for a week today, then thats a week I'm sat in bed with the laptop while I wait for the MRI.

Oooh, just think of all the things you could do if you're signed off for a week. Can you hobble to the sewing machine? You could get a good start on your upcycling clothes! Did you get much crafty stuff done over Christmas?

Congrats on getting past the 50% mark, Dinah!

I went to the bank earlier and nearly killed myself on the icy pavement! I've been to Boots and bought a load of Christmas and birthday presents seeing as most are still 1/2 price (there's the MSE'er in me!) so my account will feel that this week but at least they're bought and for less than I'd have paid later in the year.

I keep feeling sick but not actually being sick. I've got a doctors appointment on Friday afternoon but I was just wondering if there's any chance it could be some kind of virus? Or would I actually be sick if it was? Before anyone asks, I'm definitely not pregnant so it's not that!

I had that feeling last year, the doctor just told me to eat sensibly and take Motillium tablets to aid digestion which did help, apparently peppermint tea is supposed to be good too. It could be a virus though, whenever I get 'sickness' bugs I just feel awful but I'm never actually sick because I'm not a puker, I haven't been sick since I was 11!

Thanks for replying. I'll get the docs verdict on Fri but in the meantime I think I'll give the peppermint tea a try and see if it helps!

I know Hawkeye! I need to figure out what it is though! Sadly I used my CC over Christmas, until OH confiscated it!
