Dinah the website's been updated to say no evening classes now so that's good. I'm going to dedicate my evening to sewing though to try and catch up a bit - will get more done at home than I would at class anyway!

Aw, bless you Birdie You need to look for a job in a school/college/uni/local government, much better than a private company any day!! (Could you talk one of the drivers into having a minor bump - no injuries, just enough to panic the management into sending everyone home?!)

I don't think I have to talk any drivers into it at this rate, it's just a case of waiting for the phonecall that one of them skid off the road _pale_. We've already had some stranded in Scotland because the higher ups decided that the police don't know what they're talking about and sent wagons up last night. The whole thing is insane!

I really want to get a government job, I've had enough of money grabbing private sectorites!

Oh god, they're all over the country? For some reason I envisaged a local deliveries place. Fingers crossed they're all OK, must be stressful for you too

Its snowing again here. Oh forgot to update. Mrs Poolie got a call from a manager about 9am saying she didn't have to go to work today. Then at 9:45am another manager called her telling her she had to go to work.

If it was me, I would go in asking why can't the right hand speak to the left hand before you make decisions. They have staff who live in Reading and Richmond who will not be expected in but will still be paid. So Mrs Poolie is having to work while somebody else is at home keeping warm and getting paid. Hope the company make those that can't make it work the time back.

We cover the whole of the north; we go as far down as Liverpool and up to a depot in Scotland. We've become quite attached to our drivers and we're worried for them! There's not a lot we can do when they ring up from the Lakes and say they're stuck in a snow drift, we just have to send another driver out to rescue them, but it'll take hours! Poor lads.

That seems ridiculous to me. Does she have to travel far to work? Is there no way she can work from home?

I am in Reading and the weather is very severe. None of my neighbours have been able to get into work. I work from home so am okay. My OH couldn't make it in either. He is working from home though.

What a bummer for Mrs Poolie, it's crazy that she gets told to stay home then to go in, especially if other people can't make it.

The last one is definately my favourite. Its the look I'm going for, although I want that shape and style just with a little something to make it stand out. That said I love the shape and movement of the first one. The middle one I'm very unsure about the sleevey bits.

I defo prefer the last one. It is stunning!

I am biased towards lace though, as I had a lace dress myself!
