I know what you mean CMD but her company stupidly set a time limit on people getting into the office of 45 minutes travelling time so I think people will be taking the pee out of the rule.0

I'm sure they will be and that is frustrating for her. I just think it was rubbish that she was rung up and told to go in. Tell her anymore to turn her mobile off!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I managed to get into work about an hour late. I walked to teh tube station which they decided to close (not sure why) and then walked back to the train station by my flat and had to wait for half hour for a train into paddington. What a nightmare. OH rang me to tell me he doesn't have to go in as he would have been walking round. I am hoping we get to go early but the snow isn't settling in central London.
Dinah - I am sure you will manage to pay for everything before the wedding, that would be a great feeling. I don't blame you for wanting a break after that as you have been working so hard.0 -
Oh yeah forgot to say I had a little sneaky weigh in this morning even though have only been dieting a few days and have lost 3lbs already and even better the wii no longer says I am overweight woohoo. Is probably the excess Christmas weight which is why it dropped so quick but hopefully will encourage me to stay on the wagon.0

As a good money day this one just keeps getting better and better. Just found £570 in an old account so thats gone off the credit card, £146 from Quidco cashback, then £21 came through from Amazon, plus £35 is in my wedding pot, so I used those two together to pay the photographer deposit. Still pretty chuffed we've nearly cleared £1000 of the debt in under a week.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
Wow you found 570 pounds! Wish I could do that, that is a great chunk off the debt already, well done!0

It amazes me how people find massive amounts of money in unused accounts - mine only ever have about 3p in them!
Well done on the weight loss Wendz, I think I lost 3lb in my first week, don't know what it is? Water? And I'm sorry but I do think it's pretty bad that your OH didn't have to go in! The emergency services should at least be making a bit of effort!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I know I know exactly where all my money is sadly.
Yeah I think you usually lose alot more to begin as it is water weight, makes me feel slightly less of a heffer though hehe.
He isn't doing proper work yet so I am sure all the people are doing their normal shifts. He starts in his actual team (which is how they work out shifts) in Feb.0 -
