Nah that look is past it now, you need something more individual than show house chic.clearmydebts wrote: »Dinah - what's happening with your house?
We need to send 3 months payslips to the IFA, then the surveyor will go out. Not rushing it though, would be good to know we have the deposit before we pay for the survey!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Dinah, the dress is beautiful! Love the sounds of a vintage-style wedding. Hope it makes up for the lack of MRI... Still, at least it's not another 6 weeks to wait!
It must be a good week for wedding dresses (and babies!) - first Birdie, now you and my future SIL thinks she's found 'her one' too!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -

I've just sat for about 2 hours and now have a zip on my skirt!AND the skirt seems to fit ok, AND it's not as unflattering as I thought - a good night's work! Just the hem to do now, then I can put the bloody thing away and get on with something nicer!

Well done! Do you have a zipper foot? Or have you managed to do it without?Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

My machine came with a zipper foot luckily but it was still a bit of a struggle where the waistband starts and it's really thick - there's a few layers including interfacing. Looking forward to getting the hem done this evening and finishing my mood board then starting to look at my dress. Need to get OH to take my back measurement though!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Well done on (nearly) finishing the skirt Tete! I want to see pictures of you modelling the finished product!
You really seem to be making tracks with wedding planning now Dinah, are you getting giddy about it all now? I love 50s themed weddings, there's so much to play with, saw a lovely one in a magazine and they'd used old records as table markers, it looked fab!
We're booking our wedding-moon tomorrow morning! Eeeek! We spent ages in various travel agents on Saturday and we're going with Thomas Cook as they are cheapest and the flights are best as they go on Saturdays so we're going out on the 12th Feb '11 and getting married the week after. Annoyingly we can't finalise the day until we get there for some reason, we just know that it will be one day later on in the 2nd week. Not quite sure what to put on my invites! Speaking of which, my luggage tags and passport covers will be arriving this week so I can get my Save The Dates out ASAP and then get to work on the passports! Fun!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
How exciting about booking the wedding-moon Birdie, scary stuff that you cant finalise the date until you get there though, i wonder why that is. I love the idea of your luggage tags and passport covers for the Save The Dates - its such a good idea!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
