yey!! well done Cinny thats great it seems like you are realy getting in gear and getting sorted with this driving thing! well done! Im glad youre enjoying it and doing so well!
I've just realised I have about £40 to last me untill the end of march (and then theres rent for the 1st of april to be found too..) I don't know where I've gone wrong really but its really bad and I honestly dont know where the money for Aprils rent (£250) is going to come from, any ideas?! I think I can live on the £40 till then if I am really careful and get the boy to help me out but I have food etc, I just dont know where the extra is going to come from? Any harebrain plans at all girlies? I am about 10,000 short of a dooyoo cheque, so that isn't bad and will get here by then but apart from that I have no idea :(

Can't think of anything for £250! :( anything you could sell on ebay maybe?? I'm totally out of the MSe loop atm so don't have a clue!
  • What are the savings in your sig? I know you won't want to, but it's better than getting into debt to pay your rent... Otherwise, yeah ebay, MS...?

Right, the savings in your sig, plus the dooyoo cheque mean you have £123 left to find, so its halved already.

Ebay - do you have anytihng, big or small to sell. Even if you can only find 5 things to put on, its worth it

Amazon - Stick old CDs, DVDs and non fiction books on here to make a few pennies

Slice the pie - About 3-4 hours will make £5. Its not huge, but if you did this every day for a month you'd have £155, and time left for it to arrive in your account.

Do you have any old phones to trade in?

Don't loose hope, you can make it, it just takes some time from you to make the extra.

I never managed to earn money on STP, only points or something. Was i doing something wrong? I have alot of spare time, to get back into it.

Tink, have you got any old gold? You might get a better rate at an actual jewellers rather than one of those postal ones.
I'll get on Dooyoo, to make sure i've gone through all your reviews, get you closer to that cheque. :D

You get points for the first 20 reviews or so, used to be more, then you start getting points so long as you stay at 2*s or more.

I've got £4.08 in vouchers, but nothing in cash on STP. So i've rated/reviewed loads of songs, how do i start earning money?

Sorry if i'm being stupid, but it could really come in handy at the mo!

Try asking on the STP forums but basically you need to be rating honestly, using a wide range of rates, and you should get there really soon. If the account is inactive for a while, then you get bumped down to vouchers again.

Hi all! Nightmare with the money situation tink, hope it sorts itself!

Had a tooth out this morning; mouth has just gone back to normal after going all droopy lipped and tingly! The dentist was shocked that I'd never had any dental work done ever, not even injections. Think I made her nervous but it was OK, I had OH in there to make me feel better, bless him! Keep catching the hole with my tongue now and shuddering, hopefully I'll get over that!

And we booked the wedding!!!! :j:j:j It is officially happening now! We go on the 12th Feb for 2 weeks and get married in the second week, yay!
