Giddy is a bit strong, but for the first time I'm actually looking forward to it. I'm happy now we seem to have a focus to the day, I'm going to talk about invites tonight although we can't order them yet as we need to enclose a menu with the rsvp, and also details of our gift list, which we don't have yet.
Hit my first silver medal today - my tesco vouchers arrived! So we're now up to £380, that's only £13 of vouchers short of buying all 5 of NIMs OU courses for the next 18 months, which is the most we can buy with the vouchers before they pull the offer. I'm going to call the OU later find out how exactly we pay for them if they don't have a price yet!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Maybe you are the type of person that doesn't get excited until nearer the event. Finding The Dress must have made you giddy though!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I've never been and tried wedding dresses on (and if I had I wouldn't admit to it becasue that would be weird!!) but I can imagine that all the long white dresses start to look the same after a while, so if you found one that stands out for you then surely it must be special?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Lol how can you not be excited, you love organising things :rotfl:
Birdie, exciting about the invites etc! I'd be planning the party too, sounds like loads of fun! I'd love a carribean/tropical party theme!
My nieces have just gone home, they've been here since Thursday. Everyone was round yesterday and left a huge mess, and they were arguing with their brother non stop. But today they were angels, helped me clean and everything! As helpful as wiping tables with face wipes is anyway :rotfl:
Hope everyones having a good day so far...0 -

They really don't - 90% of them are matt material with big skirts and shiny bits of bling on them! This is actually the first and only dress I've found in the material I like. That said I thought I looked good in it, so I'm happy enough.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Well the reason I knew mine was the one (and I didn't have the crash, bang, whallop moment some girls describe) was because I loved the way I looked in it and the way it made me feel. It reflected my personality I could have stayed in it all day because it made me feel special and felt comfortable. Also, the more other dresses I tried on the more I felt that this was the dress for me.
If it isn't exciting you too much though, I wouldn't go for it. The dress is one aspect that you want to feel gorgeous in.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

That's how I felt with my dress. I probably could have shopped around more but I didn't want to, it made me feel like a bride, rather than a girl in a white dress and I knew I'd feel special wearing it. It was also light, comfortable and flattering. I know that when I do put it on again in 5 months time I'll feel just the same, I just can't wait 'till July when I can try it on with all of my accessories!
Got the plan for my STDs (oo-er!) and I'm struggling what to put for the date. What's a nice way of saying 'We can't set the date until we get there but make sure you're on the Island the week of the 21st'?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Erm...? "You are invited to wedding of Birdie and Mr Birdie in Dom Rep, week commencing 21.02.2011, exact date and time of ceremony to be confirmed on arrival at the resort"?
Don't know, it's a difficult one to romanticise! You could maybe put a note in with it if you don't want to spoil the invites with technicalities?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

No thats exactly how my dress makes me feel CMD, I don't have the crash bang wallop, but I think maybe I'm far too practical and rational for that! I have to evaluate its features, comfort, look, fit, etc, rather than just falling for it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
