No thats exactly how my dress makes me feel CMD, I don't have the crash bang wallop, but I think maybe I'm far too practical and rational for that! I have to evaluate its features, comfort, look, fit, etc, rather than just falling for it.

Sounds like it is the one then :j

Comfort is very important as well, as well as the dress reflecting your personality and looking good on you.

I remember trying on a meringue princess dress and it looked stunning but it wasn't me. The lacy fitted ones were far more 'me'.

See i think i would be the exact opposite. I think the lacy fitted ones are stunning, but would probably look awful on me and so not me at all. Not that i have been thinking about weddings at all :rotfl:

    Hi Girls!!

Just popping on to say I passed my theory :D Yay!!

Dinah - I don't think all girls get the 'magic' dress thing. As long as you've found a dress you like and feel all purdy in then you're good :)

Yay Cinny, well done! Bet you are really pleased.

Birdie - very exciting about the booking of the weddingmoon!

I have a little bit of excitingish news of my own. We are handing in our notice for the flat we are in. We are hoping to move a little bit further out of London so we can get something maybe with a garden or at least more green space near it.

That's exciting too Wendz! You'll have a garden in time for BBQ season, it'll be lovely!

Lol. The lady in the other shop was a bit harsh. She described it as 'the fitted ones are for the slim girls with the waist, the meringues are for the bigger girls who want to pretend they have a waist. Thats why 90% of our dresses aren't fitted, there is no call for them'.

Oof, she sounds a treat!! Fingers crossed over the stationary lady, hope the price is in budget!

Thanks everyone :D I'm just glad that part is over with now! The lessons are going really well Poddle, didn't have one this weekend with all the snow but I've been driving Greg places to keep it all in my noggin!

Birdie - That's exciting about your Wedding-moon! And good luck with the STDs (*snigger*) and invites. I'm jealous of your craftyness, I could never even come up with something like that let alone make-em!
