Lulu which activity have you ended up doing today? I remember doing salt dough decorations and putting boiled sweets in them so when they melt in the oven they look like stained glass!

Lol - I should be able to update when I am in early labour but I doubt I will be updating in the latter stages!!!

I'm going to a friend's baby's Christening in 3 weeks, any ideas what I should buy? I was thinking something to keep but I don't want to give them yet another tooth keeper etc. Maybe the special version of Winnie-the-Pooh as it's the ultimate kids book in my eyes but I don't know!

I got one of those hand print thingamies for my godson but it was pretty expensive, I think books are a good idea, I was thinking of getting the Beatrix Potter set for him but it didn't seem very boyish...

I don't know... my brother got loads of Peter Rabbit stuff when he was christened. This is a little girl (and she's gorgeous! I just want to steal her! Even OH who is scared of babies likes her!) I was thinking a charm bracelet that they can add to as she gets older but I don't know if that's a little too personal as we're not anything special to her...

A charm bracelet sounds lovely! I always struggle with christening presents as well. A photo frame is always nice too, or a memory box.

I think I'd go for an adult one since she won't be able to wear it for long if it's a child's one. But the kiddy ones are so cute!

Feel a bit cheated to be honest! My mum took the day off and stole them from me. She took them shopping with her, so all they've wanted to do since they got back is play with their new magazines!
I'm sure i'll be popular again around dinner time

How old is the baby thats getting christened? How about one of those kits where you can do hand/foot prints of baby?
