  • Was it only £600 altogether? That's not bad at all for a wedding dress, tell him to shut up :p The one I like (ahem) is about £1500 :o Love the flip flops, perfect for a beach wedding, what are you thinking for party shoes? :D

    Afternoon girls and boys,

No baby yet then CMD? No sign for my friend either. She is not due till Sat though.

I got all emotional watching One Born Every Minute when the baby was born, going into broodiness overdrive lol. The girl did wind me up though.

I am looking forward to the gypsy wedding programme although i am out for someones leaving drinks tonight. Hopefully won't be there long as am lacking in money and really need to sort the flat out.

Birdie - I am sure you will love the dress, it is just a bit daunting when you spend loads on something.

The dress was £624 (odd number!) but OH's been talking to the husband (who he plays rugby with) of the woman who owns the shop and he's going to sort out a bit of an extra discount apparently. I'm impressed with the price because the ones I was looking at before were all about £800, fancy me liking the cheapest dress! I didn't even know it was cheapest before choosing it either, we didn't want to be swayed by price! The headband is £198 though! I was like, 'Put it back! I'll get something cheaper in Accessorize!' but my Mum insisted on me getting it and said she'd pay for it as long as I don't tell my Dad how much it cost! I think it's something I could wear again though and keep for a long time.

I'm not really sure what I want party shoe wise, something a pretty colour that I'd wear again (and again and again...) but I've been having a look around and I'm not greatly impressed by what's out. I'm hoping some fab shoes will come out in the spring/summer ranges soon!

ETA: You want to feel broody? Look at these pictures! Sooooooo cute!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Hey everyone, sorry I've been so quiet the last few days.

Not scared about the MRI Cinny, I've had one twice before, its not great as I get claustrophobic and its insanely loud, but its better than pretty much anything else they could be doing to me at the hospital!

My new chart is going well, I've paid off over £200 since Saturday, which I'm impressed with, hoping to be under £1000 by the end of the month. I can account for where all but £29 of that is going to come from, but I'm sure it'll turn up somewhere.

Listed another 8 things on ebay last night, didnt know it was free listing this weekend (mum got an email).

If anyone has Twitter and hears AQA can they post it on here? It took me years to get on Facebook, so Twitter is way beyond me.

Started a new dress today since the last one went so wrong in terms of being a tent. I've got to stage 23 of the instructions and I'm stumped! They don't make any sense. Basically my new rule is 'avoid sewing anything with a bodice'. Skirts = good, bodice = bad.

Still no news from NIMs dad about the deposit.

Bad diet day today too as I have a sore throat and earache so I've eaten a magnum mini.
