Not the valuation survey, the proper survey, structural one. I'll ask the IFA.

Not really celebrating tbh, not counting on our chickens before they hatch, which will be the day we exchange.

Try not to worry CMD I'm sure there is a good reason, and being induced isn't the worst thing in the world x

Prob very sensible not to celebrate til you exchange. I am such an optimist - I always think things are going to go without a hitch!!! Exciting all the same though :)

I am okay now - baby as active as ever just got a shock yesterday. Am enjoying a lovely chilled day today - hope you are too

  • Dinah - great news that you have had your offer accepted.

CMD- will you be delivering yourself or section?

We have had the building society run this week we are thinking about consolidating and borrowing for the new build. As the new build will be sold quickly we ma get it all on interest only for a short period.

Exciting Dinah - I wouldn't have a clue what to do next. Hope you get it all sorted.

CMD - Glad to hear the baby is still as active as ever, and good your midwife reassured you, hope the growth scan goes ok. I saw my pregnant friend today, probably the last time I will see her before the baby is born unless it is really late.

Thanks CMD. I am a bit sad, as one of our friends from book club has passed away very suddenly. This week has been rubbish. :(

His name was Al, and I guess he would have been 30 or 31. He was in perfect health and nobody knows why or how he passed away, it's so strange. He had spent the last year saving £10,000 to go and live in Istanbul for a year with his girlfriend, and he was really excited getting ready to go next month. Seems like such a tragedy.

Anyway, I don't want to make everyone else feel sad too! :o

That is very sad. And that's what we are here for, the sad times as well as the good ones. Is your OH with you? I'm sure he will provide you with some support
