I love that dress Birdie, would be perfect for a Caribbean wedding I think but like you say you need to feel like a blushing bride - the perfect one will come along
(Bday on Friday, and yay for 2-day weeks!!)
Cinny, don't worry about stalling, every car is different and everyone does it, even Dad still does from time to time - as long as you don't panic when it happens and handle it well, you wouldn't fail a test on it.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I've seen her post on some other threads lately, she has no intention at all of getting debt free, she wants someone to validate her life and tell her its okay, shes young.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Morning all!
Birdie, Yikes to 'ruining' the dress  but I reckon it was their stupid fault too! Lucky that it wasn't a mega-expensive designer dress too. I really wouldn't worry about not going gaga about the dress. Chances are when you find "the one" you will, but it's not the be all and end all if you don't - it's not weird to be unmoved by the material things as long as you feel gooey inside at the thought of walking down the aisle (beach?) and seeing OH standing there...
I'm totally with you on getting up! Why can't I do it? My bed is going through a super comfortable phase at the momentDid you say you had a new bed?
So sorry to hear about your friend Lara, it really does shake you up when it's somebody so young with a really bright future. Take it easy this week, hugs x x
Cinny, sounds like you're making progress with driving - Birdie's right, it's amazing how quickly it becomes second nature and you can't imagine not knowing how to driveGreg is a brilliant name for a car! And Clios are lovely to drive - if I hadn't had one of the dodgy ones which put me off them, I'd definitely still have one. Yay for 3rd gear too!

I'm on the spectrum but 'highly functioning' according to my doctor. Whatever that means! I'm weird but I hide it well!
If you go to Elizabeth of York be careful. They give you 6 tags (stingy!) to mark the dresses you want to try on. My Mum and I were going down one side, marking dresses willy nilly thinking we'd move the tags if we found a better dress and when we moved to the other side we turned round to steal the tag off another dress and the woman had already moved them into the fitting room! Luckily my Mum is not one to be messed with so she just marched in with the dresses she wanted me to try on, and I tried about 10, the woman didn't dare argue!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

SOB - that's made me go all gooey!
Cinny I had a little look at LPS's youtube a while back and I was suprised at just how many people post stuff just showing off their toiletry and make up collections - and how many people watch them! What a big old waste of time!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Everyone's on the spectrum aren't they? I did the online 'how autistic are you?' test after Embarrasing Bodies the other night and I turned out quite autistic - because I like spending time on my own and don't make friends easily. But I say that that's because other people are mostly stupid and not worth bothering with - it's not that I'm mental!(Present company excepted of course, I think all you girls are brill!)

Oh thats not good I think thats where we were going to go! The shops have seemed so out for the money so far, none of them have even been friendly to me.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

LOL Tete! Yep, everyone is on the spectrum, I'm just a bit higher up. Like that guy on there with Aspergers not looking at people's faces very much, I'm a bit like that. I can't really look at a stranger's face and have to really force myself to look into people's eyes when I talk to them, I do it because my Mum made me do it when I was younger saying that it is 'rude' not to!
Poddle, I got my dates wrong with the bed, we're getting it the first week in March. I can't wait! OH was worrying about it fitting in the room last night, wondering how it'd get through the door! If my parents can squeeze a king size mattress into an C18th coach house with teeny doors I think it'll be OK getting one into our modern flat with standard sized doors!
Cinny, I did a quick side-step out of the dress and left! My excuse was that I couldn't buy a dress without my Mum seeing it!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Ha ha, I'm the same! I totally agree with youI used to admonish my slightly curmudgeonly ex for insisting that 90% of people are idiots, but increasingly I find myself agreeing!
Birdie, fingers crossed the bed will fit in! I'm sure it will! Although we had to take out our front windows to get our sofa into our flat. Twice!:rotfl:LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
