Oh thats not good I think thats where we were going to go! The shops have seemed so out for the money so far, none of them have even been friendly to me.
I've had that too. Even on Saturday in this outlet place my SIL had tried on 2 dresses and the shape was right on one but she liked the colour and beading on the other. She told the woman who was helping us in and out of the dresses and she said, 'I'm not being rude but you come to us to buy a dress, not to get ideas and be picky'. Errr, that's pretty rude in my book!
The nicest shop customer service-wise was in Northallerton where my SIL first went to try on dresses, the woman was nice and helpful, pointed out dresses that matched what she wanted and let us take pictures. They've now closed down! The shop in York wouldn't let my Mum take a picture of me in any dresses and gave me the wrong name of the designer of the dress I really liked! Luckily I'd noticed the label in the dress and figured it out!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

:rotfl: Blimey! Of course you're going to be picky - it's the most expensive item of clothing you'll probably ever buy, for the most important and most-photographed day of your life - of course you're going to be picky! I thought the ladies were all lovely when I went dress shopping with my friend in Newcastle about 6 years ago, I even remember thinking that a wedding dress shop assistant must be a really nice happy job, obviously not!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Birdie - yes I do have my car. I love it, it has exciting features like volume control on the steering wheel and remote locking. It even is able to overtake other cars on the motorway (my old car used to crawl past when I would try to do that). Am very happy with it anyway. Bet OH can't wait to have a go when he passes.
Cinny - glad the lessons are going well. Everyone has moments when they stall so don't panic Cinny. They say even if you do it in your test you can still pass. Greg is a great car name too.
Can't believe the bridal shop people are so rude. If they were nice you probably would be more likely to choose something! You are right though it is an important and expensive purchase.0 -
I have sold on ebay before but never Amazon, I have lots of CDs and DVDs to sell, can anyone give me an idea how it works please?

Forget friends reunited - MSE is where its at! I've just been contacted by my ex housemate from uni who found me on here through browsing peoples websites and recognising my art - how freaky is that! Its really sweet though as we'd kind of lost touch since leaving uni, and its great to hear from her.
So, my to do list today has not gone great, I went to fill in the insurance forms, and the bleeding bunny has eaten half of it, so getting another one printed out at mums school. So then I thought I'd finish sorting out that phone, but I can't find it - I had it yesterday!!! Have finished all the filing though and I've pinned the bodice of my dress ready to sew this evening when NIM gets home and brings my sewing machine down from the study for me. Also will call the solicitor ffriend this evening to find a conveyancer... I WILL be more productive this week, its a new week resolution.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

TPAx
Sure TPA, type the title of your item into the search bar, or the ISBN, click on the item and on the right side is a button saying 'sell yours here', list the condition and price and thats it, easy peasy!
They'll email you if an item sells, then log on, get the address, and mark as shipped, and the money will be released into your account. Every 14 days this automatically pays into your bank account, or in your seller account you can request manual dispersement whenever you want.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

So... I've added to my weekly to do list... again! Finish website is now on it. I actually did a mad thing this week, I got a picture of Reethi (where the main bit of the honeymoon is) and wrote my to do list over part of it, and stuck it as my desktop background - I can't escape the to do list now - and the beautiful beach is my motivation!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
