Glad for you Lulu - sounds much better than MM.

Dinah, how exciting about the house! Looking forward to NIM's Dad returning. Can you go ahead and find a mortgage advisor now and give him all the other figures bar proof of deposit?

Birdie - love those invites and <teenage giggle> STDs! Do you have any designer or printer friends you could ask to make you something similar?

I am so glad this week is over because it was harsh. Not getting out of my jammies for the forseeable future .....

Right. A week without a list was a week I can't remember, so I'm back on the lists. For now I'm leaving the old one alone and doing a quick hit list for the week, next week I'll return to all the other niggly tasks.

    1. Finish dresses section in my wedding book
    2. Finish second section in wedding book
    3. Finish third section in wedding book
    4. Find a surveyor
    5. Find a solicitor for conveyancing
    6. Do filing
    7. List at least 20 things as part of ebay-ironing race with NIM
    8. Finish sewing bodice of my dress
    9. Cut out skirt for dress
    10. Finish Ombudsman form
    11. Find and fill in cat insurance forms
    12. Do painting for friends birthday in a fortnight
    13. Do NIMs training scedule for first month
    14. Finish clearing old phone and arrange trade in
    15. Finish website
Next week I plan to have a more creative week and do:

    1. Sew skirt for dress
    2. Do 4th section in wedding book
    3. Do 5th section in wedding book
    4. Do 6th section in wedding book
    5. Do 7th section in wedding book
    6. Do 8th section in wedding book
    7. Draw a painting onto new canvas roll
    8. Draw another painting onto canvas roll/paint the first painting
    9. Go wedding dress shopping...again!
I feel so much better now I have a list!

Oh, our offer on the house has been accepted, now we need to find someone to do a survey... wonder if our IFA would know how to find one?!

The IFA and mortgage company sort all that out.

Congrats on the offer being accepted
How are you going to celebrate this evening? Hope it involves Cava or Champagne!!!

Good day here moneywise. OH got his back tax so it is reflected in my baby savings sig. I have to go for a growth scan next Thurs as the bump hasn't grown since 35 weeks (am now 38 weeks). Was a bit upset yesterday but spoke to a midwife friend and she has reassured me. I will have to prepare that I might have to be induced though if the baby hasn't grown much.
    Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
    DFD:Nov 22/June 22
    Mortgage: €199,712
    MFD: March 2042/July 2034

Not the valuation survey, the proper survey, structural one. I'll ask the IFA.

Not really celebrating tbh, not counting on our chickens before they hatch, which will be the day we exchange.

Try not to worry CMD I'm sure there is a good reason, and being induced isn't the worst thing in the world x
