Exciting stuff about the house Dinah!

I done a survery this morning for $4, but it wont be credited for 4-6weeks. I've just completed the second part of a two part study for £5, then at the end of the survey it said it wont be credited until March. Urgh!! Still all good though i suppose :j

Well our offer was refused, as expected, and agent says shes looking for only a few grand less than the asking price as she recently had it remorgaged and the valuer gave a vlaue significantly higher than the current asking price...which doesnt suprise me tbh! So NIM and I are trying to work out what to go in at next. Its up for £159, agent says she would take £156. I think if we're getting into the £150s we'll ask her to do an electrical periodical, as she did mention the wiring hadn't been replaced, so this would tell us if its okay and a periodical is only about £200.

    Sounds very sensible Dinah :)

I have found Amazon to be good for DVDs as well. Haven't tried Play myself.

Ditto for me too. I've sold a few DVDs on Amazon that weren't even very new in a couple of days of listing them. I've never used Play either but unless I'm wrong, I think you're charged a fee for transferring into your bank account unless you want to spend the money on the website instead so I've always kept to Amazon and eBay personally.

    Morning All,

Very quiet here today. Where is everybody???

Anyway, slight problem, the payment CC went out twice so the credit card is now over £160 in CREDIT!! Either have to request the cash back which will take a while or wait till the statement and then spend the money and not go back to owing them anything.

LOL Poolie, I bet you didn't think you would ever have that problem! It is a pain though, did it come out by direct debit? There's a direct debit guarantee, not sure if it's relevant though - linky.

I set up a payment to go on the 4th Feb. Checked on night of 3rd and could not see it listed on payments that were due from bank. So thought something had gone wrong so put it through again. Ended up with double payment.

Not to worry. We can use it for petrol and food. I can use the spare for getting my flights to Glasgow at the end of the month

I just started a survey for £1, clicked to begin the survey and it said "Thank you for your participation, we have credited your account with £1". Checked my balance and £1 is in there! Easiest money i've ever made:rotfl:

So far i've added about 20 odd dvd's to Amazon. If they dont sell in a couple of weeks, i'll send the budget ones to MM. I'll be sending all my old CD's to MM anyway, because they're no good for anywhere else.
