Phew thanks Lulu, I was just about to dispatch a stash of albums today to MM inspired by Tete's clear out last week! Quidco here I come - but does that mean I will have to type them all in again? Gutted.
We got quoted £73 for 87 albums which I thought was amazing as they are dusty old ones OH was going to charity shop. Sounds like amazon is better for the new sealed ones - I sold some on ebay as well which was good.
Just finished the big chunk of work I have been doing and sent it all off. I have that nice '....and relax' feeling. Shame the diet is impinging on the usual celebratory bar of chocolate.

NIM has called and made an offer on the hosue. And guess what - 'there is another interested party we think are going to offer higher' - why is there ALWAYS another interested party as soon as we make an offer?! I might hate them, but I'm tempted to go new build just to avoid estate agents!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Wow - exciting and nerve wracking stuff. I presume your first offer isn't at the top of your budget. In which case you need to see what the others offer and make sure you don't go over your ceiling price. Good luck!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

The asking price is well within our budget, and we do think its worth that, its the being messed about I dislike, accept or refuse the offer, fair enough, but dont say you 'expect' a higher offer!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Yeah, that is defo playing mind games. You would think they would be happy to get an offer in this climate! So what are the next steps?
I remember when we put an offer in for our place in Scotland. It was very stressful.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Ugh, the waiting is the worst! But you're right not to raise your offer just because they 'say' they're 'expecting' higher - if they do get a higher offer they'll tell you. B*ggers.
Exciting though!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Totally agree, wait and see if the 'others' (if they exist) put a higher offer in and then you can look at upping yours, don't do it just on that!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Nah we won't, its just a faff. If she refuses it then she should refuse it on the basis of our offer and ours alone not the possibility of another one. But I do kind of expect her to refuse it anyway so I wouldn't be heartbroken. The thing is we're not in love with this house, it matches our requirements, but its not the kind of house you fall in love with, so yes we'd be dissapointed to loose it, but we wouldn't be inconsolable, another one would come along in the end.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
