Sorry I've not been back.
Yup his notice has been handed in .
He met with his manager and basically said that it was him or another colleague  who is crap at his job and DH has to pick up all the pieces.
I personally don't agree with what he said and done but what does it matter. (Colleague is the brother of one of the director's so he won't be going anywhere)
DH has a meeting with his manager and co-ordinator on Tuesday to discuss it more - I think they will put him on gardening leave until his notice is up as they worry that staff will sabotage the computer systems before they leave:rotfl:
Regarding the spending his reasoning was that I go out every fortnight for a girlie lunch so why shouldnt he have some spends. (I knew it would be my fault )
I then explained that after I had paid my bills it was up to me what I did with the spare money and I either chose to pay off more debt or to go out but his wages barely covered his credit card bills and he had nothing spare so how did he expect to have spends?
I told him again that this was the choice he made when he could not stop spending before and I said if it happened again he had to have his own account which is how we are in this situation.
He says he will sell some items on ebay today to make some money back so we will see.
I spent Friday night at the other house and actually I really enjoyed myself even though it looks like a building site
DD was very upset and did not think I was coming home
Last night I stayed here but I might go back to the other house tomorrow night.
Spent a little bit of money yesterday, Tesco had run out of easter eggs so we have brought relative some cheesy biscuits and some hard boiled sweet as he does not really like chocolate.
Relative has brought us Thorntons eggs but I don't like their chocolate so will probably give mine to my mum :T(I did not get her one but DH seems to think I should)
I was worried before at not selling any eggs for 2 weeks as I am not at work but neighbour from up the road is Polish and seems to think she will need 15 boxes of 6 eggs . When she ordered them I did not ask what they were for but when she collected them she said they will be eating them, baking with them and also decorating them  (There are only 2 adults and 1 toddler)
Anyway it was more money in the pot:rotfl:
Today is housework day again0 -
Not much happening here - just the usual.
Were supposed to go to a BBQ yesterday but we called off on Saturday when we realised about the rain and I'm so glad we did - it did not stop raining all day
More housework today as the letting agents are coming for their 6mthly inspection  plus DD has a party this afternoon.
I will spend the afternoon prepping the bedroom (at the other house) for painting.
I have logged DH's payments from his bank account - the most obvious cause of lack of money is having to pay 2 x parking fines = £100 , paying for some meat birds (we had discussed and he just went and ordered them) = £40 and one lot of hatching eggs = £22.50. (The other eggs he paid from ths business account).
So if he had not spent that then his DD's would have been paid and some would not have bounced with a charge of £8 each time
Not sure what to do as he has no money for the rest of the month and has acupuncture every week.
I just need to bring my account up to date and so I can see where I am as it is likely I will have to pay for his acupuncture.
Today is D Day for DH as he has his meeting with his manager and co-ordinator to talk about his notice0 -
Not much going on here...
DH has had his meeting and they don't seem too bothered about him leaving, they did mention creating a role for him so he does not have to work with the lazy colleague.
He has an interview on Monday, this is similar work to what he does now but which older people in sheltered and is only down the road so he could take his truck as the cost of diesel would not be too much.
He has also applied for a few more jobs so hopefully he will get one of these before his notice runs out.
DH has sold some of our turkey eggs on ebay and so to celebrate he has bid on some other eggs . I told him that if he won them I would rip his ba!!s off :rotfl:. He finally came round to my way of thinking and agreed he had been stupid.
I really don't know what is up with him, he has no money, his DD's have boucned (he got the letters) and still he bids on crap
DD had a party on Tuesday, checked the cupboard and found a couple of craft sets so wrapped them up plus I had cards in from The Card Factory 10 for £ offer :T
Took kitten to the vet today as she needs to be spayed but was worried she might be pregnant as a manky tom has been sitting on the door step calling her day and night. She is not interested and jumps on to the garden table to watch him. She is not pregnant but it cost me £30 to be told that . Luckily I found some vouchers for the vets (they offer 1% cashback on treatments etc) so got the bill to £21.
She is booked in for her spay next week - god knows how much that will cost.
I have not updated my spreadsheet yet think I am too worried :rotfl:
Have got to do this as had oil company on the phone - we have not paid the bill from Jan yet and they are chasing - tried to pay with my credit card but it got declined - I have checked the statement and I don't have enough credit to pay it and DH doesn't either so I need to check all my accounts and see how I can pay it all.
No word on DH's new bank account but he has not had a decline letter so hopefully we will get some bits from them soon - we need to get him on a DMP asap.0 -
I have managed to pay the oil bill :T. I have transferred money from the food account and the bill account.
I needed ink cartridges so have ordered these using Amazon vouchers from surveys etc. I always moan about how much we use but have checked back and the last time I ordered them it was May 2011 :j and that was just 1 black and 1 coloured.
Also spent some vouchers last week on a friends sons present (not sure if I mentioned that up there) so all good.
Have done most of my spreadsheet and it shows I have money :rotfl:but probably not for much longer as DH has acupuncture tonight (instead of Tues this week) and he has no money to pay it :mad:0 -
So DH received his letter to inform him of his last day and as his manager still wants him they agreed that he would retract his resignation  but the director will not let him (her brother is the one who does no work) so they have put him on gardening leave until his final day
So in a few weeks DH will have no job = no money
I was so stressed last night and went to bed early, DH thinks it will all be ok, well of course he would as I have to pick up the pieces
Also I reported family to Social Services and they think it is me so that has caused issues . I do genuinely think they are at risk but didn't want them to know it was me .
Why do I have to get involved with everyone's issues when I can't even sort my own out
So I herby declare that I will sort my own life out before interfering in others - how they live their lives is up to them :A0 -

evening EE i have just got to the end of your diary and all i can say is  i thought i had had it bad over these last few years but i take my hat off to you. I can't believe how much you've had on your plate and you still haven't given up the fight :T what an inspiration
as for dh has he been to the dr's yet about his possible bi-polar? i believe the tablets they give are different to anti d's?? perhaps could help him a little more. i think the best way forward for him may be a dmp like you say have you rung cccs or pp for advice? they were so helpful when i was setting mine up and i was badly suffering from depression when i started on on mine. they really help to take the pressure off. AND somewhere in my subconscious it has sunk in that i am NOT allowed to take on more debt in loans, cc or overdrafts otherwise the cccs may stop helping me. Do you think it might do the same for him? I was really bad at having a bad day or week and racking up the debtbut i guess it won't really hit home to him until (if ever) he has a LBM.....my husband's has been flickering on and off but never really reached full wattage yet so i still struggle with him (as you know from reading my diary lol) but me being in control of the finances has helped tonnes and i give him his pocket money (yeh i get the old 'you treat me like a child' my answer is 'don't act like one then dear') when it's gone it's gone at least the bills are paid!
Oops sorry i've rambled on again for too long :rotfl: i'm good at doing that
hope you're having a good saturdayxx

It's all about the money, money, money!!
We have run out of oil, the bill I paid a few days ago was for oil delivered in Jan to the other house. Our last delivery of oil for this house was 30/11
The house is freezing - the warmest room is the bathroom so I will sleep in there tonight :rotfl:
The cat is being spayed on Weds plus DH has acupuncture tomorrow - quite where I will find this money I am not sure.
DH had his interview today, he said it went really well :T
There were actually 2 positions, 1 which is just down the road and the other in the next town. DH applied for the closest one but after his interview they rung him to ask whether he would consider the other one as well which is less hours and he said yes.
So fingers crossed that he will get offered one of the jobs - I am not sure why they would bother ringing if there was not a high chance of him getting it.
Will find out Weds
The part time position would be fine as the hours are flexible and it means that if DH's head is bad he can have a day off without calling in sick plus as he gets DLA he can get topped up with WTC with the disability element :T0 -
