So I have been so busy I keep forgetting to post in my own diary - I am on the laptop most nights but I seem to spend so long catching up with my subscribed threads that I run out of time for moneysaving and posting on my own diary :rotfl:
I did try to cull some of my subscribed threads which worked really well but then new posters appear on old threads and off I go to find their diary and then end up subscribing :rotfl:
Not much moneysaving done since my last post, just been busy keeping going.
The vet came out to see the sheep but did not ring us or leave a note so we did not know for a week until she rung DH to say she has worried that so many had died, seems Trading Standards did not inform her that 10 had gone for slaughter so actually only 2 had died
We mentioned that we could not get hold of the TS Officer about the time of her visit and the vet told us that the Officer was off for 2 weeks:eek:
So they are coming to see us at the end of Feb, to look at the sheep again and also the paperwork.
The lady at the heart of all this is avoiding us but making daily calls to the bus company to try and get the bus stop moved from outside her house, she tells them that the ambulance and doctor can't get to her when the bus is there - I had great delight in telling the bus company that I have never seen any visitors to her house and certainly not at the same time as the bus.
I have brought all my accounts up to date but the household account is running at a deficit again so I need to print off the FS and ask the others for extra money - will do by next week.
DS has been poorly for a couple of weeks, they suspected appendicitis but have sent him home diagnosing something else but he still has a lot of pain so have to wait 2 weeks and then go back and they will take his appendix out.
Came back from the hospital after 2 days and I came down with sickness and diarrhoea so had another day off, recovered a bit yesterday and lived on rice pudding and today I feel great but now DH and Relative have got it
I have hardly any money this month as I am waiting for a refund from Asda Home Delivery after a farce of a delivery plus I had to pay out for the missing shopping from Sainsburys as I refuse to shop at Asda again. I have had to borrow money from the childcare account until the refund goes in (had to pay min payment on Barclaycard) and then I will pay it back.
My debt is going down very slowly, about £45 - £50 per month so it will take me years to pay back.
DH's was going down as he had a work loan to repay but now that has finished he is just making the minimum payments on all his credit cards and still using the credit card for things such as car repairs.
The only good thing is that his Paypal credit card (owned by Santander) is being closed on 31/3 as they are no longer in partnership so accounts will be closed and you have to pay them back as normal but are not able to spend on them - this is the account that always gets the most use as it has the largest limit.
DH is very unhappy in his job and has been applying for lots of jobs but not heard anything back yet - I fear that it will get to the stage when he just walks out without a job to go to :eek:0 -

HI EE, finally managed to read all your diary.
OMG hun what a roller coaster you have been on:eek:, you cope incredible well and are an amazing person. sending you massive hugs, take care and keep posting.0 -
Hi PWPS
Thanks for taking the time to read my diary!!
What can I say except my life is never simple.0 -
So I have not been on my diary for 1 month and it shows in the finances
Have not been keeping up with my spreadsheet for bills and if I had of I would have known that by paying my car repair bill I did not have enough to cover my share of the bills
And the reason for not having much money when I promised ^ there somewhere that I would pay £250 to my debts is because it was DH's birthday and I brought him presents which were a bargain £40 from Sports Direct but relative said he would pay for a chinese, DH wanted Indian (which is fine as we all get to choose what we want on our birthday) so I suggested that I should pay as it would be more expensive and instead of relative going halves or still paying he did not pay anything  so that was another £60 spent.
I know I should not rely on relative to pay and if he didn't live with us I would have paid anyway but I just want a moan about it :rotfl:
Then to top it all for my birthday I wanted a new coat so DH said I could pick one and he would pay but of course we all know that he has less money than me so I have been putting it off. For my birthday (which was near Xmas) he got me 2 books and some chocolate so I at least had something to open so that probably cost about £10 and he did not pay for the Chinese we had (relative paid) so I begrudge it all to be honest even though he keeps mentioning the coat but I know there is no money to pay for it unless it goes on a credit card
Most of the credit cards are up to the limit as I have had to put 4 months of Ctax on them, you might remember that the bill account has not had enough money paid into it so although I have topped it up quite a lot I have not been able to pay the Ctax which is £180 pm .
Anyway I have given everyone a sheet to show the bills etc and from this month we are all contributing an extra £50pm which will cover the Ctax but that does not help with the old bill so that has gone on a credit card and I am hoping to be able to shave some off the other bills and clear the ctax added to the credit card.
The car repair bill was a bit of a nightmare to be honest although I was thinking it would be about £300 but it was only £150.
My MOT was due which I did not realise until the day after it ran out and at the same time one of my headlights went so DH purchased the bulbs but could not get to the lights so when I took it to the garage they did all of that plus a crack on the windscreen got bigger so I had to pay a £75 excess for that.
The garage did confirm that changing the lights on a Renault mean taking off the bumper which is an hours job in the garage and that is with someone who knows what they are doing . I think I might be better off without a car!!
Obviously as I have no money I can't put petrol in the car which we need to get to work and DH can't help as he also has no money - nothing to do with him taking out a new phone contract ready for when his old one finishes but then having to give a months notice which they have not acknowledged so he has two contracts running at £26pm and £36pm . He tells me not to worry as he is sorting it but when I pointed all this out when he signed up for the contract he told me to butt out and it was up to him. When it all went wrong he agreed that he should not have rushed into it .
So the issue now is that he needs a MAC code to move his number to a new provider but he can't have that until his notice period runs out and as they won't acknowledge he has given notice I am not sure when this will all happen.
He has acupuncture to pay at £40pw so not sure how he will pay this every week as I now have no money to help .
And these problems above should not be happening as I am in charge of his bank account but I can't control what he signs up to and also what he spends on his debit card - he wanted to order a case for his new phone which he did but then he also ordered a memory card for the phone so that he can put music on it  so hat would have been a spend of £10 turned into £30
God I could kill him sometimes:rotfl:
Am going to go and update my spreadsheets and then see where I am and then I will post back.0 -
I have brought my spreadsheets up to date and it is clear to see it all went down hill from pay day in Jan (end of the month), from that pay packet I had to pay my usual stuff plus all the extras.
I already mentioned the Asda delivery which turned into a farce but even with the refund I still paid out £258.68 on food when usually I only contribute £100pm, I also had to pay out for some oil as we had run out and the delivery was not coming for a few days so I managed to buy some in containers so I could pour it into the tank - that was another £63. My car tax was due which is £115.50 plus I paid Autoglass £75 for my windscreen (already paid them £75 before Xmas when the back screen got smashed:eek:).
Then (as mentioned before) I borrowed from the childcare account to pay my minimum payment on the Barclaycard which I then paid back out of Feb's pay , I also had DH's present and meal (mentioned earlier) and I forgot before it was our anniversary so we had a meal out for that - it was £62 which came out of my account .
So I have been playing catch up but from now on that will not be the case, I am going to get tougher - I tell my clients how to sort their finances but don't do the same for myself
For the past couple of months I have also had committee expenses which I can claim back this week at the meeting so that will be about £65 to come back.
I still have to find the minimum payment on the Barclaycard this month but I will do it somehow.
Checked DH's account and actually it is looking quite good - probably because I pay for everything :rotfl::eek: but no more - I am going to talk to him and see if we can have a plan for household bits to come out of a joint account or something.
We still have the added expense of the other house we have, at the moment I am paying rent on that plus all the bills - although things like water and elec are not much as we are hardly there.
I have said before that there is nothing we can do about this for now so I don't know why I bring it up
I will stop using my debit card unless it is for essentials such as petrol etc and if I pay my bills by s/o on pay day then I will have no chance to spend the money on little bits and then panic when there is not enough in the account to cover the other bills :rotfl:
I have said before that I need to come on here every day and post as it keeps me on the straight and narrow so even if I don't have much to say I am still going to post every day starting today :j0 -

Today has been a day off so I have sorted some more books and managed to get some sent off to Zapper so if they are all accepted that will be £12 in my pocket :j
Lots more that they don't accept but I think I have found a home for some of them which means they don't need to go to the charity shop.
No money spent today either so very :money:
On a less MSE note DH text me earlier and said he will be handing his notice in
As you know he has not liked his employer since he was overlooked for promotion last year and then went the guy they employed was sacked they overlooked him again. Some of his colleagues are a nightmare and do hardly any work so he is left to pick up the pieces all the time.
I can hardly blame him but although he has been applying for jobs he has not been very successful, we had agreed that he would stay until he had a job to go to but I am not sure if this is possible and I don't want him having a severe bout of depression as then he won't be able to work.
His outgoings are in excess of £1000 per month so not sure what he will do if he does not have a job.
Will wait to get the latest when he gets in later
Committee meeting tonight so will be able to get my expenses back which is another £65 back :T0
