I don't think men notice stuff that us women notice..lol....
My DH drives me nuts when he's looking for something in a cupboard..he says it'snot there..so I get up open the door and put my hand on the item straight away.0 -
Nah its not just yours. All men are useless when it comes to laundry. I left the house at 7:30 yesterday leaving OH a note with 2 requests: medicine for the dog and laundry in the machine to hang out. I returned three hours later to find he had at least given the dog her medicine. When questiond about the laundry he claimed he thought I'd meant it as a joke. What can you do with a chap like that besides pureeing his hairy kiwis in a blender?Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Plus I must check my accounts to see whether CSA money has come in or whether I can pay anything to my debts.

Oh finances are looking on the up, had some MS money come in so have PADed that to Paypal - won't show until next months statement though. - £56.75.
CSA money has gone in, no acknowledgement for my letter yet but maybe they might wait 6 months as well to reply. :rotfl:
The only downside is that my car needs an oil change but DH says this should hopefully be less than £50. Will book in for after pay day.
Would appear DH's finances have taken a battering, he had no money to fill up the 4 x 4 he brought recently so I paid for it £75!!!!
His bank statements showed that he had wages of £1200 and outgoings of £2200 - guess this is the loan he got. He has paid out for an MOT, new tyres etc for the 4 x 4.
The thing is he can't carry on like that for ever so I think it is hitting home along with his weight issue (Macdonalds at lunch don't help the waist line or the finances :rotfl:)
He says he wants us to write a 10 year plan - I said I had done mine (will print off the first page of this thread) and wants mine to copy - ummm don't think it works like that
He talks about buying farms etc but appears to be spending willy nilly still.
Fathers Day was a success even though Amazon cocked up my order which did not go through until Friday. Ended up only having to pay £4 when I ordered 4 DVD's (3 for DH & 1 for my dad) as I had the £16 voucher from surveys. Got relative a small gift also.

Yuck to the parking ticket...
fathers day sounded reasonable..you did really well there for your money
That's a lot of housework done...well done0 -
Still trying to sort my parking ticket out, really need to get the appeal in by the end of the week.
Just came on for a rant really.
DH due to have procedure at hospital tomorrow so has to take medication to clear his bowels etc. So first of all he doesn't want to drink the solution he has to as he is worried about going to the toilet all day . He is only allowed plain pasta and plain chicken for lunch and clear soup for tea. So what does he do with the chicken - he fries it with garlic and then says it is ok because he has drained the fat
I will have to take him to hospital tomorrow - good job I have a day off. Luckily I have been to the library so have a good book to read.
Relative who lives with us is being so annoying . I'm sure he doesn't mean it but he tells jokes all the time which are now getting a bit boring. When I say jokes I mean riddles which I just don't get as it is normally songs from years ago. DH thinks it is funny but did say that his mum used to get annoyed about it to.
Then today he had all his letters sent here from when he sold his house, instead of changing his address he left them to go there. Now they have turned up here and he has missed an appt for his feet - he said not to worry they are better I'll just shred the letter. Well yes the feet are better but you still need a follow up and it looks like you have missed an appt.
Now he has decided he will ring them for an appt .
All this driving around is doing my head in - I didn't realise he would have so many appts.
His son's are twots, big argument over Fathers Day until youngest demanded (and everyone bowed down to him) that they would go for Chinese together. Relative was gone 5 hours, I was getting worried as he has to have his medication etc. Did think maybe they had kidnapped him :rotfl:
Right now going off to work out my balances, might cheer me up although I doubt it!!

Sorry to hear that you are having a bad time of it at the moment....you seem rushed off your feet.
Hope you can manage to get some de stress time.
Good luck to DH for his op tomorrow0 -
Balances as per statements:
Barclaycard - £7700.47
Amazon - £2293.47
Abbey - £776.25
Paypal - £483.41
Total - £11253.60
Reduction - £148.39 :T
As you can tell I am really pleased with the reduction this month.
Have already paid a further £56 off the Paypal card (mentioned above), statement due 6th of the month. Hope I can clear the Paypal card within the next few months although things will be tough as I have no expenses due for the next few months so my only income is wages, maintenance and child benefit. (I do get Tax Credits but that goes into an account to pay child care)
Forgot to say I posted off the application for General Catering Assistant, not sure when this would start as summer holidays nearly here but assume would be September.
Will ring about the cleaning jobs again today as cash in hand would be good.
