Hi all & A very Happy New Year
I'm on late tonight as I have been up at the care home for most of the day. Just DH & SIL there now I think that they'll stay the night too. MIL is now sleeping most of the time thankfully and isn't in any pain.
I had a reasonable NYE considering. DS3 & I watched (and sang along to very loudly) Mamma Mia. It was good to watch again & the singing certainly uplifted us both.
This evening we have watched Dr Who and I have finished my 1st preemie baby cardigan :T I must go onto the knitters thread and find out what to do with it now!
Meals today have been a very scratchy affair with Pitta Pizza for tea as none of us have really felt like eating much. I'm hoping that from tomorrow, come what may, I shall be back to following the menu plan. I planned up the end of January yesterday whilst keeping busy so I have no excuse :rotfl:
I have my alarm set for the usual school day time of 6.15am for the morning so that I can get back into the swing of it all before Monday.
Hope that you have all had good days & wish everyone all the very best for 2010 xxx0 -

Hi all
I read this thread fairly regularly and really enjoy doing so but have not posted here before..... as part of my new years plans to be more OS I thought today would be a good day to start posting ! Not got too much to say but have had a lovely relaxing day today with OS meals (reduced items and using up snacky stuff from the freezer that I got in for over Christmas) after a nice lazy lie in bed this morning , a slow start to the new year !
Looking forward to getting to know you all, will check back in tomorrow, hopefully much earlier!
Happy New Year everyone ! x0 -
I am still up! Been playing board games with my OH, and exchanged some texts with Tris, so I won't be up at silly o'clock starting the thread as I will be fast asleep.
Been a very lazy day today but excellant TV in the form of Dr Who (I cried for about the last 20 mins non stop) and Gavin and Stacey that made me laugh..
We had cheese on toast to use up the slightly stale bread for dinner, and pate (HM) and crackers left over from Christmas for lunch.. plus too many choccys that we are de-cluttering off the sideboard!
I haven't read the thread but will do tomorrow before I post.
I am looking forward to an uninterrupted nights sleep!!
hugs for all
Diva.xTo be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.0
