Bally's pool may not have reopened by early March, so guests can use the Paris pool instead...if that's any help at all.

The Bally's pool is quite basic, but it's got a deep end, and isn't normally too crowded.

Oh, and we went with AA via LAX once and found the first flight to seem to last forever...agree that connecting at ORD is nice, but we will probably avoid the LAX connection in the future as it seems to negate the positives of connecting.

I put in the dates you quoted - 26 Feb till 3 March - which is 5 nights.

Did you mean to put 5 March, ie 7 nights?

If so it is $620 + tax, £225pp.

    Sat 2/26/2011 $150.00
    Sun 2/27/2011 $50.00
    Mon 2/28/2011 $50.00
    Tue 3/1/2011 $50.00
    Wed 3/2/2011 $80.00
    Thu 3/3/2011 $80.00
    Fri 3/4/2011 $160.00

    Avg. Per Night
    $88.57
    Subtotal
    $620.00*

You're right luci, I had put arriving on the 24th in instead of the 26th for some reason :o

Just gotta get my hols from work confirmed then get us booked :)

Did you put your totalrewards number in to get rates ?

Last time I was at the Flamingo some people were moaning that the Go pool still charges but is no longer topless BTW

I don't think you'll find any topless pools, if there are then they will be crawling with vice cops, there have been several over the last year that had multiple arrests for possession and soliciting, the archives in the LV Sun or LVRJ must throw up the stories.

Just make sure you get the flight dates right when you book. ;)

Normally you only have to pay the first night's accommodation as a deposit which is fully refundable up to 72 hours before arrival.

In the case of the Friends and Family rates quoted, Harrah's may class this as a package and charge the full amount when you book so just be aware. It will still be refundable.

$50 is a good rate mid week for the PH, but I think that $150 and $160 for the weekend is a little on the steep side. However it is the overall cost you should concentrate on.

I am trying to check the Hot Deals rates, but the website is taking forever to open.

Can you clarify, is it 5 or 7 nights you are looking to go for?

If it is 5 nights, see if you can get a flight on the Sunday as rates Sun-Thurs are much lower than Fri-Sat.

It's 5 nights luci, although I would consider 7 if the price isn't much different...from what I've checked it hasn't really been. thanks for all your help x

    Posession of What? :D
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I'm looking at a week at Paris for our honeymoon in June next year. I can get a double room for £401 on the travel republic sale at the moment, can you vegas experts tell me is that a good rate? Being our honeymoon, I dont know whether to hold out or get it booked (because I'm excited!). Would love strip view or red room upgrade, would the check-in tip work for that?

    we have booked :j

decided to go for the Delta flights from Newcastle and booked for a week instead of 5 nights as the price wasn't much different. Can't wait, I have been so looking forward to going back to PH since we stayed there on our honeymoon 2 years ago :)

Have you checked your dates at the various suggestions made in the last few pages? Friends & Family, Hot Deals, LCI? Booking direct will (generally) be cancellable so you can get something booked as a back-up and if something better comes along you can cancel and rebook.

A week in June for that seems a bit expensive to me but I haven't looked at your specific dates (do not know what they are). :) It's kind of impossible for anyone to say without specifics - and it is still a bit early for the best deals to be out, unless there's a major event, convention, etc. in town.
