MarchOh yeah they don't have "topless" pools in Vegas .........They have European pools !!!! (Which for those not aware is the same thing)
Going topless and soliciting have absolutely nothing to do with each other in most people's normal minds however !
Right now we've got that straightened out I'm off to look for Donny and Marie tickets :rotfl::rotfl:I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

JuneHave you checked your dates at the various suggestions made in the last few pages? Friends & Family, Hot Deals, LCI? Booking direct will (generally) be cancellable so you can get something booked as a back-up and if something better comes along you can cancel and rebook.
A week in June for that seems a bit expensive to me but I haven't looked at your specific dates (do not know what they are). It's kind of impossible for anyone to say without specifics - and it is still a bit early for the best deals to be out, unless there's a major event, convention, etc. in town.
Thanks for the reply. We are in Vegas 13-20th June 2011. Have checked the friends and family rate which works out as £392 so that's a bit cheaper. I'm a bit confused on the Total Rewards thing, can I sign up for that online or can you only do it at a casino when you are there? I'm just in a dilema, do I book now or hold out for a better rate?0 -
MarchYou sign up when you get there .
You can both book now....and book later. Most bookings made direct with the hotels (ie not expedia travelrepublic etc) are fully refundable so you can book now at what you feel is the best deal -paying a 1 night refundable deposit so long as you cancel 72 hours ahead....so..........when a better deal comes along later-you can cancel your first reservation and book the better deal. Best of both worldsMost of us here have often changed reservations several times as better deals come along.

I can get a double room for £401 on the travel republic sale at the moment, can you vegas experts tell me is that a good rate? Being our honeymoon, I dont know whether to hold out or get it booked (because I'm excited!). Would love strip view or red room upgrade, would the check-in tip work for that?
Strip view might just work by asking. The red rooms are overrated IMHO. I would rather ask them for a "P" room. Much larger room either located at the far ends or near the lifts. Red rooms are really smallThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -

If the Total Rewards thing you mean the LCI rates, you sign up at an LCI casino in the UK (free), then you qualify to book the LCI rates...if you mean the actual Total Rewards programme that's something you have to sign up for when you get there as duchy has said.
If you do go for the friends and family booking, check the terms as it may require full pre-payment rather than just the first night...but should still be refundable if you cancel up to 72 hours before.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
MayTotal Rewards is the Player's Club for Harrah's/Caesars properties. You can get the Hot Deals or Friends and Family rates without being a member. However it is worth joining once you are in Vegas as you get discounts on those rates.0

January , FebruaryCan I ask how useful resort credit is at Aria? I booked ages ago for a deal with $50 dining credit but a new deal has come up which is $20 more but offers $50 resort credit daily. It has to be used daily and doesn't roll over. Is this likely to be useful or something we'll never use? ie is the food overpriced and we'll never eat there!Resort credit can not be used towards room
rate, resort fee, retail purchases, gaming, taxes, or gratuities. This offer is subject to promotional availability over select dates and may not be combined with any other offer. Rates are subject to change and restricted dates apply.
We go two weeks tomorrow, now that Christmas is over definitely getting excited for our first trip. We're going to a trade show at the Sands Expo centre and still willing to rebook the room if anybody suggests somewhere more convenient and possibly cheaper!
Thanks

It would depend on what the resort credit is good for - sometimes it's restricted to certain restaurants...but for $20 more to get $50/day resort credit it would seem to make sense - if you use $20 of it, you're even...any more than that then you're up on the deal. Normally it's good at the buffet and coffee shop sort of places in addition to some of the restaurants.
Assuming you mean $20 more total not $20 more a night, I would do it without question if it were us...if it's $20 more a night, then I would probably give it a miss as we don't eat at the same property very often and I would feel like we had to use at least $20/day.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
January , FebruaryIt's $20 in total not each day so not much difference. Looking at there website there are no dining prices. Looked at spa and things like that and they were pretty expensive. Think I could afford a manicure if it covered that. A manicure everyday maybe?0
