The sense check of £30 a night including weekend, shows this is a good deal. Make sure you know what room you would like a complimentary $20 upgrade to eg the Go room is a favourite.

Go room at Flamingo, rather than Tropicana? :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Just planning our October/November trip next year. A bit different as we are planning to go to Vegas for 8 nights, then onto Miami for a cruise, then back to Heathrow from there. Put flights into AA.com LHR/LAS/MIA/LHR and came out at £730 each, bonus of a non stop to Vegas on BA code share. Seems good to me but might just wait till the first weeks in January to see if AA come up with a sale. Also will definitely do the Platinum challenge again, even if it does cost $200. The benefit of extra luggage, picking legroom seats, lounge access, priority access and check in ,100% extra miles, 4x500 mile upgrade tickets and a soft landing of just going down to Gold when Platinum runs out after 15 months is a no brainer. Also we still have 5x500 mile upgrade vouchers left each so hoping to use them on the LAS/MIA section. If anyone has any better solutions than be pleased to hear them.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Hi, as part of our wedding package we've got a $200 credit for food and drink in caesars. We're looking for somewhere a bit upmarket to take the parents the night before the big day.

I quite like the look of Bradley Ogden or Neros, has anyone been to either of these before, or could recommend another restaurant?

    cheers

As much as I like the Platinum I would go with the Cosmo. You are riight on the strip and Platinum is a 5-10 minute walk away. We have stayed in the Platinum a few times now and love it because of the kitchen and balcony, but looks like the Cosmo might get our business if the right price comes up. If you have never stayed at the Platinum and need some pointers give me a shout.

thanks stoneman, we have never stayed at the platinum, its only for a saturday night stay as we are booked in the wynn sun-thur, the sat night was too expensive at the wynn. We liked the look of platinum but have now found cosmopolitan for the same price for that night.

just priced the cosmo for 27th may 2011 for 5 nights, ive booked with city and show, booked it last week a terrace studio, but was interested to see if lowcostusa.co.uk were cheapper

well im paying £556 for the 5 nights with city and show, and to book the same room for the same dates with lowcostusa.co.uk is £630 so city and show work out cheaper for me, there is an offer of £445 for a city room, but i understand those rooms have no balcony and are cheaper than the terrace rooms anyway
