well guys, were now all booked up,

flying with delta via detroit outbound, and via new york inbound on 27th may 2011, at a cost of £440 each for the wife and i

and just booked the cosmopolitan terrace studio for £550 with city and show.

this will be our first trip to vegas so wanted to stay somewhere a little special, and by the looks of the cosmo it ticks all the boxes,

i think weve done quite well with the price, as far as what some of you have been saying about prices going to be high next year, what do you guys think, would love some feedback
Great price there. The delta flight is good, newish A330 with comfy seats.
The Cosmo looks nice as well, and a good price. Will have to kep an eye on them for our trip, was either going back to the platinum or trying the towers at planetho, but that place seems to tick the boxes as well. Don't
worry about City&Show, a few of us on here have used them in the past.
    Nice going:T
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Great flight price..where did you get it? Just looked on Delta website and they are coming up at £750 for that date.

Cosmo should be great hotel as it has only just opened, How many nights is that £550 for. I have used City and show with no problems.

I dont like City Centre though

Delta to Detroit was a nice plane - didnt get a numb bum like I do on the Alitalia Five. Beware though that theyve just started a second flight on certain days of the week, and its an older plane.....poss ex-Northwest fleet. I know they havent upgraded the coffins yet on that plane (if you go Delta business, youll know what I mean!!!).....dont know about economy.

Have an offer via cityandshow for the Tropicana @ £212 for 7 nights in Feb. Seems cheap to me but its my first time in vegas and I have never used cityandshow before. I also got flights @ £444 from Dublin via Gatwick through Expedia with Virgin which I have booked. My question is does this all sound reasonable and should I book the Trop at this price

have you checked prices for the hotel booking direct or through smartervegas.com, etc? Hard for anyone to say if the cityandshow deal is good or not not knowing what dates, what room type, etc...seems like it may be a good deal but not sure anyone could say for sure without specifics and checking other options.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

thanks for the feedback stoneman, glad youve put my mind at ease for the city and show booking

photome, we booked it through thomas cook back in september i think, i remember someone on here saying anything under £500 will be a good price and to take it if you see it, also the £550 for the cosmo is for 5 nights, so working out at £110 a night, bargain really as ive stayed in hotels in this country for that price that arent a patch on the cosmo,

froggitt ive just checked my flights and ive got a boeing 767-400...not sure if thats good or bad, anyone know if this is an old or newer plane,

The sense check of £30 a night including weekend, shows this is a good deal. Make sure you know what room you would like a complimentary $20 upgrade to eg the Go room is a favourite.

Back from New York so time to plan my next trip to Vegas :)

I'm going to be involved in a charity event in Idaho in May so I'm going to Vegas for a night before and three nights after. I have comped rooms at Caears (Forum Tower) but that is all that is booked so far.

I liked Continental and now they have merged with United the flight times are good for both Vegas and Idaho so I'll probably fly with them mainly.
