    Has anyone ever booked hotel rooms with Travel Republic? The prices for February 21 -28 seem to be much cheaper than I can get anywhere else, e.g. the Flamingo is coming in @ £147 per person which is better than I can get on the harrahs site even with Cyber Monday

    I've booked a hotel in Spain with TR, but not in Vegas. That all went well.

    :beer::beer::beer:

    sounds like you got a good deal . just avoid the Excalibur Buffet ( well so says everyone who has ventured in there) . Cripsy Creme Doughnuts @ Exaclibur on the other hand are worth pushing your granny out the way for .
    Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

    Has anyone been able to get any good flight deals from Scotland for next year?

    We got flights with 2 stopovers in March 2011 for around £460 with BMI/United for 1 week Sat-Sat, but that was almost 3 months ago. Best bet would be to check early January as sometimes sale prices can sub £500, the last week in August is usually decently priced but prices have stayed high for the past 6 months or so.

    If I see any coming up I'll post details...

    Thanks for the reply, just cant seem to find any decent flight deals just now - or even package actually, although, I do prefer to book seperate..
    I dont think I would be able to do 2 stop overs again, that drained me! Suppose everyones body clocks work differently though :)

    "PinkstarSX" asked if Virgin include the resort fee's.....

    If they dont tell you that theres more to pay when you get there, then IMHO you dont have to worry about them.

    I did a post on here which had mixed replies in terms of fee's.
    I booked a hotel, the same as you do with Virgin.
    If the hotel charge a resort fee, you'll pay it when you get there. The booking agent (Virgin, etc etc) should inform you of such fee's.
    I already raised a case with ABTA against Alpharooms.com for booking the Excalibur, and got told there is no fee, but theres a $7 fee, then after badgering them, to be told there is a daily $9.95 fee (only after raising hell!)

    So that statement above may not be true unless Virgin holidays state that the room, tax, resort fee (plus tax) is all paid for....
