Friends and family is available on all harrahs properties, I would have thought there was a link on first page, if not

I have rarely found UK sites to be cheaper than booking direct, although I agree that it can sometimes be the case.

I just checked out the Flamingo for 7 nights from 21st feb on travelrepublic and got a total price of £323.26.

Booking direct with friends and family rates https://www.totalrewards.com/hotel-reservations/main/?packageCode=IFNF8&propcode=FLV&originalpage=/MakeReservation.do&r=http%3a%2f%2fwww.harrahs.com%2fvegasvacation%2f i got a total of $476, at todays rates that would cost about £309, of course the rates could change between then and now for the worse or better as you would only pay for the first night upfront.

Alpharooms has those dates for £285, plus an extra 5% cashback if you go through Quidco

    Hi,

Can anyone just give me a few pointers on hotels, I am going to Vegas for the first time in October next year to get married, we will have our nine year old son with us so we are looking for a hotel that will not only cater for us but for our son as well.

Budget wise is not really a problem but with that many places to stay we are looking for help, if anyone has been in this situation and has hotels in mind your feedback would be grateful.

As others have said, there aren't many hotels that cater for kids, and they are on the lower end of things - personally I would never stay at CC - I think the place is kind of awful...we have stayed at Excalibur and thought it was perfectly suitable, if not terribly special...we probably would not stay there now that we have tried other places.

But it kind of depends on what you want - you say budget is not really a problem, does that mean you want to stay somewhere more upscale? What's of primary importance to you - location? pool? other amenities? Will you have a car?

Staying on strip is usually the suggested option for first-timers...but sometimes I think with kids, maybe somewhere like Orleans would be a good choice as there is a lot to do on premises...again, it's not a high end place though...and for your wedding and honeymoon, you might want something more special.

I don't have kids - so can't give any first hand advice...many people here bring their kids and have a great time so it can be done...just be sure you know the restrictions - like no kids in casinos as trets mentioned...no kids in bars at all...age restrictions on some shows...it is an adult-oriented city that has child-friendly options.

It does seem to me that the higher end places have fewer children staying there...it's only an observation which could be completely wrong - but I cannot think of many times that I've seen kids walking through with their parents or eating at restaurants at Wynn, Bellagio, etc...maybe I am just not looking closely enough though.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I can't remember if the LCI rates are the same, better or worse than the F&F deals?

    http://www.harrahs.com/lci/

Looking at the dates - 21st Feb for 7 nights, it apepars that Flamingo is coming in at $395.36 for those dates...so the answer may well be better, may depend on exact dates.

Supposed to be an LCI member (casinos various locations in UK). I would never suggest booking without the relevant credentials in case they ask...but I think others have done OK. :)

Your nine year old son would love Circus Circus, although, its not a very good hotel for location wise.

No, you can't - unless you are a guest of the hotel and then you can get a tag for it.

But I wasn't necessarily thinking of just kids of stroller needing age...even older kids, I can't recall seeing many at these places.

I can see how Trump or Signature would be a good option.

    Code TPWW2

Two nights free 16-24 December. Free Spa access included.

I dont know the casino or the hotel there, but I can highly recommend the shops there....its one of only a few outlet malls with a Hollister, and it was absolutely dirt cheap.....bought bags and bags of stuff for the tadpoles and Mrs Frog. Also has a Juicy Couture outlet, again very cheap. Pick up aq coupon book for additional discounts at the juicy. Also many of the same shops as the two malls in Vegas eg Hilfiger, Coach etc.
