most casinos have a bookies area . in USA it's called a Sportsbook .

you cannot use a mobile phone , in these areas .

As Trets say most casinos have a HUGE sportsbook and you can watchand bet on live horse racing 24/7 almost, of course it is anerican horse racing not UK. You can also bet and watch almost any other type of American sport at the same time as there are loads of giant screens

Not easily - online gambling laws are different in the US and UK. We cannot log into our Ladbrokes account from the US as Ladbrokes site will be able to tell from our IP address that we are not in the UK - we know because we have tried before...my hubby has instead sent emails to his dad with details of his bets (F1) and his account login. You could probably fiddle about with a proxy server or similar if it was really important to you.

Ive found that most UK bookies recognise a USA IP address and block you from logging in. If they have video, you may or may not be able to see it. But dont try and bet online anywhere near the sportsbook, or you may get taken outside and beaten up.

youll have to be really clever running vnc or webex or something else where you are remote controlling a PC in the UK to make your bets.

Oh yeah, we have a Slingbox now mainly so hubby can watch F1 when we are in the US (though I have been known to log into it and watch some crap UK reality show too) - totally forgot about that...works great - and I suppose if watching the races is good enough it may be an option though it's not that cheap...nice thing is that it runs through your broadband router rather than your PC, so PC can be shut off.

I've certainly seen UK racing broadcast in sportbooks so I'd ask around in advance and see who is amenable to showing it....with the time difference it's hardly a peak time so there shouldn't be much to compete with eventwise from other punters.

It may be worth seeing if there are any internet streaming sites you can pick it up from on the net too and watch a particular race online if it is very important to you.

they certainly show Champions league and Premiership games on the Sports book . i remember going for breakfast one morning while watching John Terry was leading out Chelsea for a Champions League Semi final on Caesars Sportsbook .

why don't you ask around at some of the bigger sports books . i think you get stuff beamed on to individual tellys at Mandalay Bay .
