Interesting parts in the report states that MGM earned $20m over the last quarter. MGM comment that they've not had any negative reaction?
The newspaper comments on the fact that the resort fees don't show up when booking, I've seen several posts on here about them.
Obviously MGM don't read these boards. Someone should send Jim Murren the link.
so what happens if you have booked before january via the bellagios own website ? will the charge still aply ?0 -

There is not a lot being said, not even how much. I suspect that as the resort fees are usually charged/ collected when you check out (remember they swipe your card) you will pay.
For a comprehensive list of hotels, charges and what you get have a look here. A lot of good info and one more little comment in there. "Please note that these fees are subject to change without notice. The fees listed below do not include tax. Some resorts may also apply room tax to their resort fee".

I've also seen various posts regarding the swiping of credit and charge cards at check-in. If you don't want to be surprised then best to not consider Station casinos, they debit your card $200 on checking in, just in case you have any services or costs charged to your room, it takes on average 2 weeks to refund the money after your stay has been completed!!
so a double caution on their flagship casino, The Red Rock it's a more upmarket jobbie than all the others so a better clientele perhaps and maybe no $200 withhold? but they do have a $24.99 a day resort fee.0 -
JulyAs far as I know when other hotels have brought in the resort fee they haven't charged it if you booked before the charge was announced (or started not sure which). I was at The Hotel @MB in July but booked in January, it wasn't charged or even mentioned.0

MayI wasn't charged a resort fee at MGM for a booking made before the charge was announced/introduced. However the check in clerk still gave me everything that's included with the resort fee, ie free internet and 2 drinks vouchers.0

AprilSorry anyone have a though on this?
Cheers
Agree with photome - ask the limo company...they will be best placed to know. Strip traffic on Friday night can be hideous and LAS suggests arriving 2 hours before your flight, even for domestic flights...the security queues can also be awful, though departing on a Friday night maybe not so bad.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
