MayNot sure if you can check in for the Sig at the airport or not or whether it is just the MGM Grand.Ahh ok, I'll check that.
The taxi will stop at the gatehouse where you give them your name and they will tell you which tower you are in. Excellent, no worries there then:)
No need for the tunnel to get to the Sig. You need Swenson to Koval.
You can try the getting married card, but so many thousands of people get married in Vegas that it's nothing unusual. What, you mean to tell me it's not just us!!!???;)
Why did you book a Junior Suite when you say it is necessary to have a one bedroom suite? You may have been cheaper to book the one bedroom from the start if there was a good offer on rather than the rate they may quote you at check in.
That would be a co*k up on my part....I knew absolutely that we needed the 1 bed one, then when it came to booking when the bloke at Virgin asked if it was the normal Junior and I just blindly said yes. Doh. As the cost of upgrading was the same if I just got Virgin to do it as if we paid the rates shown on the Sig website I figured we may as well give the $$ sandwich a go and if no luck just pay like we were going to.IMHO Signature is less chance of upgrades as the rooms are privately owned, and I would guess that the owner of the regular suites wont be pleased if their punters keep on getting bumped up.
That's interesting, I didn't know that. It did seem to me on reading the likes of frontdesktip et al that the upgrade stories seemed to fizzle out about 18 months ago, but I guess it's still worth a pop.
Thanks for the info everyone, it's very helpful to a Vegas newbie!Te audire no possum. Musa sapientum fixa est in aure.0 -

Just to echo what Luci said about airport checkin and it just being the MGM (I think), but also it is not available at the internationl arrivals terminal so unless you are flying in from a connecting flight inside the US you will be arriving at the wrong terminal0 -

Hi again
I've just checked on the site and you can check in at the airport - maybe it's a new addition?

yes, but if you are on the Virgin or BA flight direct from UK, you will be arriving at the wrong terminal to use it. International flights use terminal 20 -
