    Well,
I booked in August using Alpharooms. I paid a total of £272 which is for 1 week on the 3rd June.... I could have waited closer to the time to book, but as this a wedding thing, i want it done and dusted now.....
If the rate by alpharooms is £272 total, then i assume that includes the resort fee which i know is like $10 a day... My point is, if there is no mention of an additional charge, then i should'nt have to pay one, and if i did, i should be able to claim it back from Alpharooms....
However, if others have booked in advance just like i have done, turned up and found there resort fee was already included in there TOTAL price they paid, then happy days! :)

So the total for a week was £272 and not £348 as in your first post?

The other post just confused me.

If you have paid a total upfront it should be just that.the total but of course it does depend on alpharooms t and c (have you read them). You could call Alpharooms and or the Excalibur to confirm. Every other response will be a guess.

As others have said there are some very cheap rates for Excalibur about.

    Edit

I am even more confused now as your other post in the travel section https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2756534 says that on arrival you got asked for the resort fee and you want to claim it back? Have you already been?

You need to click on the redeem a gift tab, it will then ask you to enter your gift certificate reference number. Once you have done that a message should pop up on the screen saying "CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE X amount of $ to spend" you can then add the certs for the places you want to your basket and the cost will be deducted from your total.

Hope this helps! when reading it back it seems a bit muddled!

    Thank youuu!

Probably not the most cost effetive way of saving money, but I have got many many certs in my account and will buy a couple of certificates for many different places in vegas. If we dont go we dont go, they dont expire! need to get a printer and have a nice A4 file full of them (I like hard copy) :T

Spent about £25 on $50 certs when it was 90% off! many left to spend over the next 10 months or so!

Hi - I don't suppose any of you had saved the destinationcoupons $5 off Spice Market coupon as a pdf and could email it to me (assuming the expiry date hasn't passed)? Just doing my final round of printing for our trip next week and see that the new coupon is showing as 'coming soon'. No worries if not, we're not sure we'll even make it to Spice Market this trip...but just in case. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

ah - ok, cool...thanks for letting me know - I was annoyed as I'd also thrown away some hard copies after our last trip, but if they were expired then it's OK. :)
