Doesnt mention the hotel in reports I have read
I think the hotel business is in massive debt anyway because of the City centre project

Thanks photome, will just browse around for the best prices I think and see what comes up. Think I better get those flights booked though as it seems a good deal :)

If you want to be sure of getting the flight and are happy with the price, book it BUT dont look at the price again after you have booked it.

Question about hotels on the strip :)
For the next 2 mins, i'll pretend to be Naive.....

Wooohooooo, just booked my hotel for 1 weeks stay in Las Vegas, staying at the Excalibur! Checked Travelrepublic.co.uk and Alpharooms, and there prices were about the same, so i read through all the stuff on Alpharooms, checked the T&C's, and it says total cost for 1 weeks stay is £348.... I'm like WOW!!! thats amazing!
So i paid the FULL amount just now because its a good price, and it states the total/full cost is £348..

So booked through an ABTA bonded place, so if somthing goes pop, i should be OK.......
Now, although the above is true, except i paid £272 (paid deposit so far) when i booked in August, i believe just like the rest of my trip, i have paid everything i need to and there is no mention of any other charges....
Anyone see an issue above ? (refering to the booking agent or hotel)

The rate you have been quoted should include the room tax of 12%. However you will need to check if it includes the resort fee which is $9.95 a night.

The Excalibur currently has rates starting at $24.

I am going in just under 3 weeks and staying at the Bellagio with 2 children. I emailed them to ask if I had to pay and they confirmed no providing they are using the existing bedding. Admittedly I didn't say how old they were (12 & 13) but she told me to ask for 2 queen beds when I booked and only book for 2 adults. I have printed off a copy of the email she sent me but intend to check in on my own anyway. More than happy to report back when we arrive home.

That would be great if you could let me know how you get on..thanks..:j

We - my husband and i - stayed in the excaliber 15-20 september - having seen a deal noted here by Luci.

We paid for 5 nights 9only paying one night upfront) and booked direct. All in - including resort fees and taxes - it was £220 fo a standard tower room.

    Well,
I booked in August using Alpharooms. I paid a total of £272 which is for 1 week on the 3rd June.... I could have waited closer to the time to book, but as this a wedding thing, i want it done and dusted now.....
If the rate by alpharooms is £272 total, then i assume that includes the resort fee which i know is like $10 a day... My point is, if there is no mention of an additional charge, then i should'nt have to pay one, and if i did, i should be able to claim it back from Alpharooms....
However, if others have booked in advance just like i have done, turned up and found there resort fee was already included in there TOTAL price they paid, then happy days! :)
