I am looking at booking the shuttle transfer from the airport which runs every 15 mins - can anyone recommend / confirm or is a taxi a better option?
    Thank you

How many people? If 2, taxi will probably not cost much more than the shuttle and you won't have to wait for it to fill up, won't have to wait for it to drop off at each hotel before your own...if 4, taxi will be probably be cheaper. Taxi ranks right outside both terminals - very easy to find.

Thanks - there are 2 of us and we will be keen to get to get to the hotel so taxi it is.

We have always had package holidays so are just used to looking for our coach on exit!

I thought this may be of interest to some of you. I subscribe to vegas4locals newsletter and have just realised that the auctions they hold on ebay for tickets to shows and events can be bid on by us in UK. They will either post them to uk for $2.99 or to your accommodation in Vegas if you win the bidding hhtp://stores.ebay.com/VEGAS4LOCALS Could be a bit of fun.

Has anyone got any recommendations for the shows sold on ebay in vagas4locals store. They seem to be selling the same shows all the time, but I'm unsure which to go for. I've seen MARC SAVARD COMEDY HYPNOSIS which I would not see again and VINNIE FAVORITO COMEDY SHOW which I really enjoyed.

Got back from my 10 nights in the fabulous Las Vegas last night (boooo) and loved it as much if not more than ever! As soon as I have caught up on here and got myself back into the swing of things I will post a bit of a report.

Sorry I can't suggest specific shows as I don't think we have seen any that they list.

A lot of them seem to be the sorts of shows that 2-for-1 vouchers are readily available either online or in magazines, though - so may be worth checking what the auctions normally close for and if you could do better just booking yourself using a coupon.

depends on what hotel though...and since the OP seems to be valuing speed, in some cases maybe the tunnel would be the better option...may be more expensive, but faster which some would be happy with. Personally, I'd tell the driver to take the fastest or the cheapest route, whichever was my preference.

My point was that after being told that there were no upgrades available with the Prima offer I passed my ID and $20 over and suddenly a upgrade became available
At which point I would have taken my $20 back and asked to speak to a manager, outrageous. I can categorically guarantee you that I would have gotten even a better suite out of them.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.
