I'm American and can say with a fair amount of certainty that the average American won't be able to tell a Welsh accent from an English one...it's only this most recent season of Next Top Model that I've finally learned to recognize a Welsh accent (thank you Julien MacDonald) and I've lived here over 9 years...so you'll be fine either way. ;)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Yeah, they can't tell. I have lived in England for 30 years and have a Devon/American accent and most of the time people ask if we are from Australia:rotfl:
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Haven't flow with them since 2007, but they had individual seat back screens then. Hope that helps. Have you had a look at their website? It might tell you which films they are showing.

    Hi everyone

We're looking to book our 4th Vegas trip for next April (didn't get to go this year booo...), anyway I've found a Fly Drive without accommodation with Thomas Cook from Manchester direct for 7 nights for £406 inc baggage and meals?! We don't need the car but would assume we don't even need to collect it, am I right in thinking this is too good to miss?!!

Hi, just double check that this flight is actually direct. When the BA flight sale was on I found the best deal for us, which was direct from heathrow, May 2011. Before I booked it, hubby did a bit of research and also found Thomas Cook direct from Manchester for around £423 each. We put all our details in & was about to confirm it when I looked at the flight times. One of the flight times didn't quite seem right, even with the time difference and so I contacted the Thomas Cook help desk. The advisor confirmed that one of the flights (can't remember if it was outbound or inbound, think it was inbound) with Delta if I remember rightly, was in fact indirect. I told her that it stated on the website that it was direct & she said that it was a glitch & had happened before. I really wanted direct this time & told her that I'd not had been very happy if I'd had booked that & would have wanted my money back and she thought that may not have been possible. After all that we booked the heathrow direct flight for £525 each.

I hope that this is not the case for you but it might be worth double checking this. Fingers crossed it works out for you!
