    Thanks for the link Dan!

    I was waiting for a deal to come up at Paris, but this is working out as $533 for the week we want - $150 cheaper than Paris, don't know what to do now! Although am I right in thinking MGM charge resort fees while Paris doens't?

    Has anyone here stopped at Paris and MGM? Which did you prefer? (Also, whats the difference between a 'west wing king' or a 'grand tower'?)

    Firstly - thank you so much! I also love seeing Vegas on TV, and so much of it is really old so nice to see something new.

    Secondly - how on earth is it that I have never heard about this show in general before?! I am the lowest common denominator when it comes to this sort of thing - it's right up my street.

    Thirdly - my husband is as displeased with you right now as I am pleased. :)

    Have stayed at both and like both. Yes the MGM now charges a $10/night resort fee which includes internet access (normally $15/day), a $15 beverage credit per stay, free local and freephone calls and a daily newspaper.

    We are at the MGM at the moment in a Bungalow suite. I booked before the resort fee was introduced so we didn't have to pay it. However the check in clerk gave us 2 $15 beverage credits and free internet so $90 of freebies (or $40 if we'd had to pay the resort fee).

    The West Wing rooms are non-smoking and more modern, but the Grand Tower rooms are bigger. From the photos I have seen of the WW rooms, you can practically touch the wall while lying in bed they are that small. They only have one bed and you need to be comfortable with whoever you are sharing with as the door to the bathroom is glass.

    You can see photos on the MGM website.

    I also loved the Don't Tell the Bride episode...but started out positively gleeful at the developing situation but eventually started to feel a bit bad that I was taking so much pleasure out of someone else's pain...I did get over it though. :)
    Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    she seemed to enjoy it in the end . they only live 10 mins up the road, maybe they would like to come round and swap Vegas Wedding photos . they had 5 more people at their wedding than we did .

    But you gotta both want a Vegas Wedding IMO .

    He could have got them all there if he had planned in advance and read this thread !!! say £500 a flight X 10 should have been do-able and after that they could have stayed somewhere off strip / shared a few rooms and come in well under the 6k + he payed for just 6 people . .

    while he was looking on his comp pricing up , i thought , go to our thread and save yourself a chunk of change . or go to Ireland if you want to marry overseas and have loads of people there .
    Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:
