Firstly - thank you so much! I also love seeing Vegas on TV, and so much of it is really old so nice to see something new.

Secondly - how on earth is it that I have never heard about this show in general before?! I am the lowest common denominator when it comes to this sort of thing - it's right up my street.

Thirdly - my husband is as displeased with you right now as I am pleased. :)

Its brilliant isnt it?? You should be able to catch Series 1 and 2 on the i-player, this is series 3. It was car crash tv tonight though!

I got very excited when they were at the top of the Eiffel Tower, then Greig reminded me it was 2 weeks ago tonight when we got engaged there.

Weddings in the Venetian looked lovely!
Lucky wins - Rituals Beauty Advent Calendar; Starbucks Coffee & £20 Gift Card; Amazing Hen Weekend at Dunblane Hydro; Heat Magazine Book Bundle; Le Crueset Goodies :j

Wishing everyone some magic fairy pixie dust for luck!

I'm happy to send them to djc. I didn't end up using them so have no idea how they work, I'm afraid. We looked for a place to top them up on the first couple of days but somehow got distracted. Something to do with the amazing place, I guess!

$119 -- Vegas: New Luxury Resort on The Strip w/$100 Credit (T&C's apply)

The newest resort on The Las Vegas Strip, the 5-star ARIA Resort & Casino offers an unprecedented 40% discount with a $100 resort credit per stay. Visit Sunday-Thursday Sept. 26 - Dec. 23 for $119 per night; weekends are an extra $80 per night.
Located amid CityCenter, guests can put their $100 resort credit to use toward:
    • Tickets to Viva ELVIS by Cirque du Soleil
    • Treatments at the spa or salon
    • Dining at one of the resort's world-class restaurants
ARIA is home to a glittering, 150,000-square-foot casino. Rooms are set up to customize guest preferences; such as turning on the lights, setting the desired temperature and opening the curtains on the floor-to-ceiling windows; all via automated controls.
    Blackout Dates: Sept. 30; Oct. 1-2, 7-9, 18-23; Nov. 1-6
Book by Sept. 29. Note: A two-night minimum stay is required.

Actually, I was very impressed on the whole with the Aria. We didn't have any problems with servicing of the room (was it Luci who did? I can't remember) but I found that leaving by 10am and leaving the little 'please service my room' light on meant that it was usually done by 1pm when we got back. I particularly liked the in-room gadgets and being able to control everything from the TV (the touchpad was on OH's side of the bed!).

We had the $109/night deal with $75 resort credit. If you stayed the two nights on the offer above you could have 48hrsof internet ($14.99/24hrs) and still have $70 towards a meal. The shorter the stay, the better the resort credit offer is, really (we stayed 5 nights).

I didn't get nearly as many electric shocks in there as I did in PH last year!

Also, the casino feels quite big and airy, apparently the whole hotel was designed to use as much natural light and provide large spaces; a real difference from some of the cramped, low-ceiling older Vegas hotels. (it helps dissipate the smoke as well, I found)
