  • Id try a few others UPS etc - I can't see or think of anywhere really wanting to hold something that long for you. Plus with its value I don't think id be happy leaving it.

I've bought a fair bit off ebay USA before (not to that value) and postage is never that bad - deffo look down other couriers etc

Just tried it again 2ad and 1 ch and it is £625 a head for the Signature, if you just put in 2 ad it is 1257 each, how weird is that, it has to be a glitch

For anyone who got this deal on BA.com well done!!

I have just checked again after being tempted yesterday, although I wouldnt want 10 nights at the signature.

The deal that was £625 yesterday is just under £2300 today, plus another £325 to uprade to a 1 bed suite (was free yesterday).

So a holiday that was £1800 in total yesterday, (which had to be a mistake) is now just under £7000,or £7300:eek: for the 1 bedroom suite which also has to be a mistake as that is way over the top for 3 people.

It is also now £1846 per person for 10 nights at CC, that cant be right!!

Sorry to keep going on but just checked the flight prices for that same time, yesterday they were £585 each today they are £1839 each !!!!!

It could be right if enough people jumped on the deal and the plane is not near enough full on the 28th August, so you are paying through the nose for the flight element.

what about if you click the button that shows prices for a few days either way - they were a bit more expensive yesterday, but still a great deal.

ah - interesting...and it was a direct flight? I'd thought all the planes on that route had the pairs at the back - last four rows either side near the loos...shows I've gotten quite out of touch with the Virgin thing. :)

you are not out of touch - according to V-Flyer every single plane on the London- Vegas route in the recent past has had the standard 2-4-2 seat layout for the last 4 full rows (slightly offset).

...and as Photome wisely realised, seats A&C in row 61 are actually behind seats B&C in row 60, so the window seat is extremely prized in row 60!!

I see some lucky people got to fly on Cosmic Girl (V:Port).

Think they may have sorted it now as all 10 day periods around that time are roughly same price now at just over £1000 a head

And the flight price is back down to £585, some strange happenings on that website, and yes I have double and triple checked I was checking the same days

    V-flyer.com

It really is one of the best sites I've come across in a long time if you are a plane buff. Try it out - go into the toolbox and enjoy!

I have just looked at the fleet and see that Cosmic Girl is one of the newest 747 with a different configuration.

I also note that our two flights this year were on 2 of the 2001 planes..Hot lips and English rose which were much better than the older ones

Just going to have a look on v flyer
