We went with Virgin via Tesco Vouchers, in deals money it was top dollar, but we had seats at the back and I mean right at the back of the plane, there and back and a standard MGM room, no goodies, no upgrade.

If we'd have paid in real money I'd have kicked myself, its top price for low grade seats and rooms in my opinion.

Have you thought of converting you tesco vouchers for BA miles and buying a MFU (miles for upgrade) flight to Vegas and buy accommodation seperately. This is what we're doing.:D

Anyone know whats happening in Vegas W/c 18/10? Just tried a few hotels with offers on and all fully booked (the offer rate), but most have dates free either side of this week

Getting the seat on the plane isnt relative to how much you pay though..all economy seats are up for grabs to anyone

    I have just tried it and got £552.11 per person , 5 adults 4 children ( 2 rooms with 2 adults 2 children & 1 room with 1 adult)

CC is coming up as £541.33

Just tried it again 2ad and 1 ch and it is £625 a head for the Signature, if you just put in 2 ad it is 1257 each, how weird is that, it has to be a glitch
  • Well hubby is on his way between Atlanta and Vegas as I type for a week with the boys for his 40th - and on 26th Nov I head out for a long weekend with the girls (we used to go together every year before we had our 2 year old but separate trips are the only way to go for now!).

My sister is 40 while we are there and I was looking for any restaurant suggestions, looking for somewhere lively where we can have a laugh, some nice food and few vinos.:j:j

I was thinking of maybe the Grand Luxe at the Palazzo and then we could head to the champagne bar for the $20 bottomless bubbly thing - but never been to either so no idea what they are like!

We like all types of food so are open to any suggestions. Budget not really an issue either.

    Any suggestions??

Last few hours of BMI sale......

We've just booked with Expedia- a week in March 2011 (5th - 12th) Saturday flights for just under £600 each - Staying at Bills for the first time.

Flights are from Glasgow via London and LA (Flights were around £469)

Hotel prices are pretty high (March madness ??) so Expedia gave us the best deal.

Thank you for that...now I will not be wondering why all the cowboys when we're there. :)

My husband said 'this is real bulls, not mechanical?'

    Yes, dear.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Agreed and if it was the direct flight to Vegas the pairs at the back are much coveted.
