No, there are very few rooms in Vegas with tea/coffee making facilities. The Four Seasons, Vdara, Signature, Carriage House and a few others have, but not Mandalay Bay as far as I know.
Either buy a coffee maker once you are there for $10 or take a travel kettle and supplies.0 -
Aprilyet for the transatlantic leg got another basic Delta plane.
By basic I mean: TV's above the rows, little leg room (I'm only 5"10 but I found myself in an aisle seat stretching my right leg under the chair in front and putting my left leg stretched out in the aisle itself).
I haven't flown Delta in years (I have my issues with them) but if they are anything like other airlines like AA, if you're selective about which flights you book you can have a better shot at a better plane...AA flies 767s on some of the transatlantic routes - which I think would mean TVs above the rows, etc...but we specifically choose flights where they show a 777 being used and avoid that sort of issue. No guarantee, they could change the plane used...but better to have a chance at a better plane we think (so far have never been disappointed). When we're booking flights we're both specifically looking at the plane type and ignore those on smaller planes.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I'm pretty sure, though could just be one of those Vegas rumours, that they don't have tea/coffee making facilities in the room in order to get you down to the ground level to get your caffiene fix...and then you usually have to walk through or next to the casino - so hey, pretty lights let me have a quick go on this slot here...Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Don't worry about the flight numbers. I have now used the one ESTA for two separate trips this year - one to Dallas and one to Vegas. I originally applied for a completely different trip that I did not in the end make. So, once it's approved then it's valid for multiple trips and you don't need to update the flights.
In any case, they are only interested in your point of entry to the USA, theyr'e not checked for internal flights - only at the 'port' of arrival in the US.
Hope you have a great trip
How does that work then with the "get an ESTA and use it for all trips in the next two years". My ESTA says LAS.......if Im going to DTW do I need a new ESTA?illegitimi non carborundum0 -
MayNo you don't. The flight details are not mandatory. It is only the questions with a red * that must be completed.
I have printed a copy of our ESTA's and usually update them each trip, but it's really not necessary or required.0 -

Hi we stayed at the Hotel at MB in July, there was a guy loitering around the area between the Hotel and the Mandalay Bay one night around 10pm (sorry forgot his name, he was entertainment manager or such) he was trying to get us to go up there and said he would get us in for free. As it was our 2nd night we were still jet lagged so we were on way to bed but he said come back any night and gave me his card.
When we went back a few nights later, I just said that XX said he would get us in, he was nowhere to be seen, but they let us in free, this was about midnight.
Views were spectacular even from the lift on the way up to the lounge!! there was a DJ on, I thought it was quite a young crowd, but well worth a look :beer:0 -
