SeptemberI have seen a mystery 5 star hotel on bookit.com for dates 11-18th september it is the third offer down and promises central strip luxury for very reasonable rates.
Is there any way of finding out which hotel this is without booking it first? Any pointers appreciated.0 -
April$45.45 -- Cher at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas (Reg. $86)*
Believe it -- tickets to see Cher at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace were just cut with two exciting offers. Save as much as 45% on Second Mezzanine seats or get a complimentary upgrade on all other seats.See the pop culture icon in Las Vegas from Sept. 4 - Oct. 31. A limited number of Second Mezzanine tickets are $45.45 (regularly $86.36).
Or a complimentary upgrade is available on all other price levels, which can save as much as 30%. All discounted prices are listed below:- Second Mezzanine ... $45.45 (regularly $86.36)
- Rear Orchestra ... $86.36 (regularly $127.27)
- First Mezzanine ... $127.27 (regularly $159.09)
- Front Orchestra ... $159.09 (regularly $227.27)
Just went ahead and booked the 2nd Mez - happy with the seats - centre section, half way back, a few seats in...figure for $45 we'd lose a lot more than that in the slots in 90 mins...even after all the fees.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
AprilSeafood (dying to try some crab claws or lobster) - the buffets are OK for crab legs - though I prefer those that split them for you as I don't really like taking my food out of its home...most buffets serve them cold (not my preference) but I understand some will steam them for you if you ask. There is a seafood buffet at Rio that might be worth looking into but I haven't been myself.
Best Buffet for dinner - Wynn, but it's expensive...for a more reasonable option, Spice Market.
BBQ place especially for RIBS or pulled pork - Ellis Island, no question...you can see the trend.
Best Steak in Vegas - we like both Envy (close to the Convention Centre monorail stop) and Austin's at Texas Station (much more out of the way)...both on restaurant.com...Circus Circus was good, but we prefer these two by quite a ways. Other option is Mon Ami Gabi, good value, good steaks, great view from the patio.
Blueberry pancakes - Original Pancake House (also on restaurant.com - but not on the strip)
Best Sandwich (one of those real American sandwiches, stuffed to the brim!) - if that's the sort of sandwich you mean, Carnegie Deli it is...they are good, they are massive (google image search it)...personally I thought they were overpriced and they do have a split plate charge...but we have said it's one of those places you have to go.

Location and Luxury! This resort puts you in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip and right in the middle of all the action, within easy walking distance of all the exciting Vegas sites and attractions. These are luxurious accommodations at the ... More>best rates ever! Upscale, luxurious, and romantic, this grand 5-Diamond Resort boasts everything you need under one roof, now available at an amazing rate so low that we cannot publish the hotel name!
What do you guys think? I don't think Trump is a 5-diamond resort...from the AAA list it seems the options are:
Bellagio (doubt it)
Encore Las Vegas (no dining table in the rooms we have had)
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas (not in the heart of the strip)
SKYLOFTS at the MGM Grand (it ain't gonna be Skylofts)
The Palazzo Resort Hotel Casino
The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino
Wynn Las Vegas (ditto no dining table)Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

£ 750 for 7 nights in the Venetian sounds cheap but only if it is that hotel. Has anyone booked this way before with Bookit.com. Totaly freaking out now cos i should have booked this ages ago. 16 days and counting.0
