That's great thanks! I'm going through the order now online and it's asking for my debit card details and looks like they take it right away. How did you arrange to not pay until you collect?
Ahh, maybe they have changed then. I last used them in May this year and although it took my card details, it was only to reserve the money. Have a look around the site and see if the money is taken straight away
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Thanks for the tips everyone! Off to get my Bounce now......
I found it worked better if I put it flat on my shoe, but might be inadvisable if wearing flip flops.

Thanks Luci.. fountain of knowledge as usual!!

we're staying at the Excalibur.... do they note on each ATM the charge or not?

It's usually on a sign on the ATM. If not, if you put in your card it will tell you what the charge is before you complete the transaction. The one inside CVS works like that.

Current Crown Currency cancelled contracts (so much alliteration!)

    1.6103 - delivery on after 23rd September
1.6228 - delivery on or after 11th October

To order, please call us free on 0800 612 7273

Just ordered some more for our October trip, just couldn't pass it up - even if I will kick myself if it goes up again, but their standard rates for this period are 1.5499.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I am going to Vegas on 1st Sept for 2 weeks staying in the Mirage. My first time in Vegas and can't wait! Have got lots of good tips and ideas from this board, but wanted to know do you think the $20 trick will work for a 2 week stay? And if so how many dollars do you think we should try?

I am planning a trip to Vegas in November and have a price from Belfast flying Continental (connecting in New York) and a price from Dublin flying to London and then on to Las Vegas with Virgin.

Anyone have any experience of either flights? What is the service like? How is the leg room? Have you experienced any delays?

    Any recommendations would be helpful.

    Thanks

Yes flew the much cheaper Dublin connection at the beginning of this month and have used CO thru EWR in the past.

Virgin were "OK" on the way out and had the flight attendent from heck on the way back. Everyone was asking for comment cards to complain she was soooo rude. However it's quick -food was edible but no more than that-and seats are much narrower on VS than CO.

If you can get it for the same sort of price I'd consider CO to be the far superior airline and I'd choose Belfast if the connection times weren't too long (actually I'd choose them even if the connection time was long TBH but I'd hop on the bus to Elizabeth and kill the time in the outlet mall rather than at the airport)

My flights with Virgin have always been on time but I do have friends who got stuck in Vegas for an extra two days after a plane went tech. At least with the other carriers they have other choices and will get you back via another route rather than make you sit it out.
