Did you get this though a mail shot or just phone up and enquire
    ?

The cancelled contracts come by email and are higher than the rates on their website. They are available to all if that's what's worrying you.

We're flying continental.. Ive only ever done 3 long haul flights - and with cheap airlines! Can I ask what freebies you get on the continental flights?

Meals and possibly soft drinks. Alcohol will be payable.

I have read on here that some of the hotel pools close in the winter months. Is this true? We are staying in November, when it is still going to be fairly warm, and my gf was hoping to do some sunbathing by the pool while I had a game of cards.

    Any advice appreciated.

We've been in Vegas in November, the first 2 weeks, and the pools were open. If the hotel has more than one then it's likely that only one will be open.

I've printed some vouchers from restaurant.com.

Has anyone actually used one in a restaurant?

    Yes, many of us........

Quick Question: My mate has booked a trip to Vegas for 10 of us and he is adamant that we are flying with Monarch. I was unaware that Monarch flew to Vegas? Airline is noted as MON on the booking form.

    Cheers

I would doubt it was Monarch. More information required such as flight number(s) and defintely not non-stop and I doubt even direct.

so im kinda planning a rogh guide of things i wanna do whilst im there and im wondering if you would be so kind to give me a list of your top :-
    breakfast places
    lunch places
    dinner places

as many as you like but reasonably priced as poss im afraid - our pricey meals are booked already!)
so i can note them down and hope to remember them if i encounter them, hopefully this means i wont get over-hungry and end up eating crappy food in an overpriced restaurant when my belly wins over my money saving head lol!! iykwim!
edit to say - central strip as poss please :)
thank you thank you thank you - i always prefer to have recommendations for restaurants lol!!

    My personal favourites are;

    Breakfast -
Peppermill, which others have already suggested.
The Cafe at The Hotel for their pancakes!
Krispy Kremes at Excalibar. When we just fancy donuts and a drink if we are planning a lunch etc.

    Lunch -
Serendipity 3 at Caesars. Perhaps a bit pricey but the portions are large and I love the atmosphere.
Cheesecake Factory at Forum Shops. Huge menu / huge portions! Good for lunch or dinner.
Cafe de Lux at Venetian. Sister restuarant to Cheesecake Factory.

    Dinner -
PF Changs at Planet Hollywood. Very good value I think.
Hard Rock Cafe at Showcase Mall area. Great menu, big portions.

We are going again next week and will definately eat at the above places. Also really want to try the new chocolate restaurant at the Forum Shops - Max Brenner Restaurant. Looks yummy!!!

    I have also purchased Restuarant.com vouchers for;
Mr Luckys - Hard Rock Cafe
Pink Tacos - Hard Rock Cafe
House of Blues - Mandalay Bay
    BB Kings - Mirage
    Raffles - Mandalay Bay
    Hennessays - Downtown
Vouchers are a great way to save. You can purchase vouchers just now with 80% off - using the code CLEARANCE

Another good way to save is by buying an all day pass at the hotel buffets. For example its about $35 for an all day buffet pass at Mandalay Bay. Meaning you can go in and out as many times as you want throughout the day.

A good idea is to have a look at the restuarant websites / menus online before you go to get an idea of price etc.

Most of the Vegas restaurants are reviewed at www.Yelp.com which gives you a good idea of what people think and what the food is going to be like / see photos etc.

Yes, they are very popular and never had a problem in using them. Remember you can only use one at a time and restrictions (i.e., cannot be used against alcohol) are marked on the vouchers.

Just a quick and rather random question but, does anyone know if any Strip hotels have a McDonalds on site other than Circus Circus? I know there are several McDonalds along the strip but don't recall seeing any in any hotels other than CC. Cheers x
