I am planning a trip to Vegas in November and have a price from Belfast flying Continental (connecting in New York) and a price from Dublin flying to London and then on to Las Vegas with Virgin.

Anyone have any experience of either flights? What is the service like? How is the leg room? Have you experienced any delays?

    Any recommendations would be helpful.

    Thanks

We're flying continental.. Ive only ever done 3 long haul flights - and with cheap airlines! Can I ask what freebies you get on the continental flights?

I have read on here that some of the hotel pools close in the winter months. Is this true? We are staying in November, when it is still going to be fairly warm, and my gf was hoping to do some sunbathing by the pool while I had a game of cards.

    Any advice appreciated.

I've printed some vouchers from restaurant.com.

Has anyone actually used one in a restaurant?

I am not sure what freebies (if any) you get. Probably just a meal.

Quick Question: My mate has booked a trip to Vegas for 10 of us and he is adamant that we are flying with Monarch. I was unaware that Monarch flew to Vegas? Airline is noted as MON on the booking form.

Can I just add in for a breakfast suggestion or lunch or whatever

the Egg Works their banana nut muffin which comes with your meal, usually, is beyond gorgeous. You will need a car to get there.

Also In and out Burger which serves lovely burgers and animal fries, yum. Real americana to me.

And the good old IHOP which we love and return to again and again. I had the pumpkin pancakes last year and they were delicious.

Must stop looking at the menu's.

Im staying with a mate over Christmas and he asked me the same question. I know if your lucky you might get 60-70F. I think the pool at the Bellagio is open all year around.

Anyone been over Christmas before? Me and mate are hitting it hard for 6 days partying! :D
