I am assuming it is ticketmaster.com and the transaction is in dollars so it is an overseas transcation. the best way is PO credit card or Abbey zero credit card. i never think it is wise to use a debit card online as you dont have the same cover if things go wrong0 -
MayHi guys and girls, I am off to Vegas this coming Monday and I'd like to say a big thankyou to the contributors of this thread. This place has a wealth of information which has helped me plan my holiday so much better.
I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I have completed my ESTA online and have given my advance details to BA. Is there anything else up to now that I need to do to enable my entry into the US. I believe I have to complete an I94-W on the plane also. I've googled and searched and can't find anything but I would just like this confirmed to put my mind at ease. Well, as at ease it can be with the volcano looming large.
Many thanks, Matt
Sounds like we'll be on the same flight- Bring on Vegas!!!

Again, thanks... just picked up a couple of tickets to see Love in September. I assume that the 'will call' windows are easy to locate? Didn't have a problem booking online, but had to put NV in as my state, but popped UK in the address line in capitals to emphasise that's my actual location!!0 -
MayJust about to go out for the day and forgot to add (somehow!) that we saw The Blue Man Group last night at the Venetian. Excellent show and well recommended. We got 40% of our tickets via smartervegas.com and so we paid $130 for 2 tickets which I thought was a steal!
Got a really bad cold which is making me feel quite rubbish, but still determined to enjoy myself0 -

Yep I am going to Vegas on the night of the 25th July (Driving from Phoenix) and it's my birthday on the 26th. Btw, Will my driving license be an ok form of ID? I read in the posts before that in some places they won't accept it. I'm not too bothered about clubs etc but I don't really fancy carrying my passport around everywhere
I've been to America 3 times before and it's horrible knowing I could drink etc in England but suddenly went back a few years when I was in the States (my OH would always rub that in my face!) Which is why I am really excited and think Vegas is the perfect way to spend my 21st!
Edit: Thank you all for your ideas on hotels in San Diego. We weren't originally planning to go but theres a comedy act on that night which we would really like to see. After San diego we are moving onto LA for a couple of days before heading back home.
it used to be fine , but others have recently posted that some places are not accepting a UK driving license as ID . if it were me i take the driving license and see how i got on . i never had any issues with using it to buy drinks and gamble .Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
January , FebruaryWe are there at the moment! Didn't you see my review earlier? I posted it last night.
This is our second stay and we like it. The suite we have isn't modern, but it's really spacious and comfortable. It's like a one bedroom apartment.
Sorry Luci - missed the connection (Doh!)
I have emailed them as it appears that two rooms for 3 adults and 1 child is coming up the same as one room - if that's correct it's a steal ($641)
Thanks again:oThe force is strong in this one!0
