    Sahara's $1 rooms

To complement its $1 blackjack and $1 drinks, the Sahara will soon be offering $1 room rates.

Starting this month, Sahara will be offering $1 rooms through its Twitter and Facebook pages. The hotel-casino will release a link and booking code to its followers during random 24-hour periods each month.

The offer will be available for both weekdays and weekends but is based on availability.

Re Summer of Cirque du Soleil promo, I am going to get some tickets (for Love) but wondered in true MSE style what the best way to pay is......ie credit or debit card, is it classed as an overseas transaction or not as it is through Ticketmaster???

Hi guys and girls, I am off to Vegas this coming Monday and I'd like to say a big thankyou to the contributors of this thread. This place has a wealth of information which has helped me plan my holiday so much better.

I have a question that I hope someone can help me with. I have completed my ESTA online and have given my advance details to BA. Is there anything else up to now that I need to do to enable my entry into the US. I believe I have to complete an I94-W on the plane also. I've googled and searched and can't find anything but I would just like this confirmed to put my mind at ease. Well, as at ease it can be with the volcano looming large.

    Many thanks, Matt

Matt, I'm sure someone will answer you soon, I don't think there is anything else to do, at least I haven't done anything else. 8 weeks today for me and the ash is a BIG worry, here's hoping it doesn't mess up anyones plans, we all look forward to our holidays for so long!!

    No nothing else to do

I don't bother printing out my ESTA but I've written the number in the back of the passports on the contact details/next of kin pages so if I need to update it I can find the number quickly -and if there is any query on entry (never has been so far) it's right to hand.

Thanks Duchy and MissNobody for your responses, its set my mind at rest. Now I just hope the wind blows the ash away so we can actually get to Vegas!

Between the volcanic ash and the BA strike (eventually missed by one day), someone, somewhere, really doesn't want us to go on this holiday.
