MayJust back from the Premium Outlets. Got some good bargains which were even better with 25% and 20% coupons from the VIP coupon book.
Weather is great today, warmer than it's been at 88F, but it's set to drop to 79F at the weekend and will be windy again.
Used the new Ace Gold and it was great. 30 mins to get to the outlets and 35 mins to get back. Much better than the 1.5 hours it took us one trip before we started using taxis.0 -
MarchI checked-in online for my trip in February, four of us pitched-up at the airport with our boarding cards - but no flight due to snow in Atlanta!
Not sure if you have to be a member of skymiles for it to work!
Doubt it I'm a Gold member
Never really had an issue with it cos I've just used business check in anyway and Delta don't mess you about with changing seat allocations like some other airlinesI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

AprilHello all - Just back from Vegas and had yet another brilliant time! It was nearly called off due to the volcano, but it all worked out in the end.
We used one of the Promo codes for Planet Hollywood provided by Luci with a 4 night stay for $230 - a real bargain. We asked for a Bellagio 'fountain view' room at check-in and were told that it would be an additional $50 a night, however I then tried the $20 tip by sliding it across sandwiched between my passport and my credit card and politely asked if there was anything he could do and we got instantly upgraded to a fountain view room!!!
I don't know if they have scrapped the resort fee now after switching to Harrahs, but I then asked him what the rate was and he just said 'Don't worry about it, its fine!'. It would seem that $20 goes a long way!!It's not personal, It's strictly business.0 -
Hi all my first post and I need your help I have booked the bellagio online via the reservationsmgm site yesterday but have yet to receive a email confirming everything do I get anything in the post? I stupidly didn't take down the confirmation number. HELP
also don't panic if your reservation does not show online if you input booking ref into MGM reservation system . for some reason they often fail to show up .
Call them up , print off any email to be safe . job done :beer:Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
MayI understand wanting an email confirmation of hotel booking as I'm the same. Just like to have it just in case.
However I have never once been asked for it or needed it in 30-40 different bookings.
For peace of mind I would call the hotel and just confirm with them.0 -
AprilA few more bits about our trip - April 18th - 26th
By evening we were exhausted - only fit for the South Point casino (cos it was next door to where we were staying.
.
My partners Brother in Law is Casino Manager at South Point so any feed back you have on it would be gratefully received0 -
JulyHi Everyone
I'll admit I haven't had a chance to read through this thread yet (there's so many pages!) But I will get cracking soon so I'll apologise if this question has been asked before.
I'm going to vegas for a couple of days in July (first time for my 21st!). My partner says we should just book with hotwire and that way it's done and I don't spend weeks agonising over the perfect hotel (I'm slightly ocd when it comes to things like this - I will go through every single hotel if I have to!)
So, my question is, has anyone ever tried booking Vegas hotels through hotwire? I've done it before on LA hotels but the area I was looking at then was quite small. I'm afraid that with the sheer number of hotels available we might end up with a hotel that's not quite on the strip.
Thank you
Edit: Forgot to add, we're on a tight budget so I only really want to spend between £50-70 per night for the dates 25th-30th July0 -

Wynn Encore shows at £350 for your nights via Atlas Choice. I too am OCD about my hotels - and spent weeks researching where to go. So whilst I can't guarantee that you'll like what I choise - I chose on these grounds.... It's a great deal, It's supposed to be beautiful, it consistently gets great reviews, it's only 2 years old, whilst not slap bang in the middle of strip it is opposite Fashion Mall where I can buy cheaper breakfast etc.
Don't know if that's of any help to you!! But you can't blame a gal for trying!!
