You can cancel these though if youve seen a better deal right?

I would be surprised if it's anytime soon.

What's your opinion of the hotel itself....considering it for maybe 4 nights as I've found a pretty good deal
Tango, I spent my wedding night there last November. We absolutely loved it in there. We did have a Celebrity Spa Suite though. The jacuzzi, which was next to the bed, overlooked the strip! There was a very big bathroom, a safe in the room and a bar in the room!
My wife (it still sounds and looks weird when I say or type that!) just caved in...we are going back to Vegas next July and the Monte Carlo will be very high on our list of places to stay. Might go for a standard room though when we go back. Oh how the other half live.0 -

Hi,
new to this forum so hoping you can help!
have been to Vegas many times with hubby but not since birth of our 2 year old!
Hubby is going for a week in Sept with the 'boys' to celebrate his 40th and thats all booked and sorted. I am hopefully going with the 'girls' for similar celebrations the weekend of 27th/28th November but nothing booked as yet.
Ideally we'd like to have a suite for the 4 of us rather than 2 separate rooms. Any suggestions other than the Signature and which websites to use for booking?
Also need to check out prices for flights for that weekend as its just after Thanksgiving so not sure if that will make it more expensive.
Any advice welcome!
Thanks
Hi George...we were there last November (to get married) during Thanksgiving. We didn't really notice any price hikes anywhere, and the Strat did not bump up their room prices over this period. One thing I would suggest, is to book a Thanksgiving meal if you fancy having one, although this is really only for the posh places. We had our meal in the Stratosphere and it was lovely (we didn't book it although there were queues early on in the evening).
The best thing about this time of the year is Black Friday!! There are some very very serious discounts to be had on your shopping if you like shopping! Even the shops at the outlets had extra discounts on top of their already very good prices. I got Levi's 501's from the Levi's store for £22, Vans t-shirts for £2 (£23 in the UK!) and a Sony Blu-Ray player for £85 (£160 here). The shops open from 5a.m-ish and some offers (electrical) are at certain times of the day.0 -

Also,
Yes as far as I'm aware the deal is fully refundable if you later found something better elsewhere - best to double check all the small print yourself but I didn't see anything on there to the contrary.0 -

There's currently no plan to change the planes from LGW to LAS. There is a 'refresh' planned shortly on the LGW 747 fleet, which will give improved In Flight Entertainment, and new seats, but no new planes.
The A330s on order for Virgin will cover the refurbishment, but doubtful they will go on the Vegas route, as they have quite a lot less seats (and a couple less engines!).Andy Corbett0 -
MayI'm off to vegas on the 6th May for 7 nights. WOOHOO!
Fantastic thread, read alot of it, but can't seem to find specific info.
1. Restaurant.com
How does this work? Printable coupons or something?
Noticed StripBurger is sold out, when do they come back in stock?
Any coupons definately worth getting?
2. Shows
I have a girlfriend that likes to see shows, suggestions?:-)
Should i book in advance? I heard of some place you buy tickets on the day?
3. Travel
Booked via Delta Airlines, can't seem to find any info on luggage allowance...
Also, I've reserved seats for our party of 4 via the delta airlines website, however only me and my girlfriend are travelling (I paid for my mother/partner to go, but my Mother is unfortunately hospitalized) She can't claim on travel insurance. I figure I might as well have the extra leg room :-)
How likely is it these seats will be resold on the flights there and/or back?0 -

Depends which shows you want to see and if any show is a must see or if you're more relaxed about it. Broadway style shows, singing, dancing, Cirque , what KIND of show does she like ? Give us a bit more info and maybe we can suggest something (and if you need to book ahead or not depends on which show)
When your parents don't check in those seats will go back into the pot -so you might as well cancel and claim back the airport tax. If they are likely to want to go again later on -it may be well worth changing rather than cancelling. Either way there is no benefit in not cancelling-your parents will be able to get something back out of it. Not much -but this is MSE where something is always better than nothingI Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
