I've noticed people mention the Crazy 8's deal at MGM... I've found the 2 for 1 deals that are included as well as the reduced room rates - are the 2 for 1 deals one-offs or do they exist for the entire period of your stay?
All deals are different, you have to read the small print, but The crazy 8 is 2 for 1 buffet daily and 2 for 1 drinks is up to $40 value, most deals are a once per stay, that makes this MGM deal very good value IMO

Apologies for being completely anal - but does this mean that this particular MGM deal is NOT just once per stay? The daily buffet could come in very handy indeed in that case.

    Don't be silly I wouldn't blame you!

"Inclusions are per package, per stay and have no cash value. Guests will charge to the room and will be credited upon check-out. Guests must place a deposit on their reservation at check-in to take advantage of these inclusions."

So they are asking for a deposit at check-in because they are including these offers?! Bit harsh isn't it?

Hey guys, just want to thank people for posting good offers and just updates on their Vegas trips.

I am going out on the 15th Sep for a week with 5 other mates. This will be my 2nd time in Vegas and i cant wait.

We used the crazy 8's offer for the MGM so its worked out about £200 per person. The cheapest / most decent flight from Manchester was a 15hour duration 1 stop for £499.97 which i didnt think was too bad considering most of the offers.

We are thinking about renting a car when we are over there and maybe making a possible trip to LA, anyone advise me on if youve done this before?

Anyway guys cheers for all the info.

    Regards

    Mark
L.A. is about 5 hours away, DO NOT come back from there on a Friday or go on a Sunday afternoon. bit of a dump really unless you are going for the parks. A must if you do go is Six flags, the only thing worth dragging us back to L.A. for. we once drove to Valencia Cali. in the morning, did the park for 8 hours and drove back to Vegas again the same day. i wouldn't advise that though!!

Outstanding! We've missed the direct Manchester - Vegas flight since BMI ripped it out. Saves us considering stopovers and any jaunts to London. Cheers for the information.

    Ohh, but it can!!
The casino is rubbish IMHO, they try and bat above their average, even making you play max credits at the bar top VP's to get a free drink.
As mentioned before unless you get a Go room the rest are dire, you would be better off staying at Bills next door then you get a better room, easier rooms to get to from the street, and you have full use of the best thing at the Flamingo, their pool!!
