Son is off to Plymouth for a Uni visit with friends whilst I'm away-his cheapie hotel for 2 nights is costing me more than my 4 nights in Vegas -ah well at least I'll get Nectar points on his stay.

Unlikely TBH -in your shoes I'd book now and get a better seat but if you want to take a gamble (and it is Vegas after all) you could wait knowing you *might* get a deal...you might not but you won't pay any more.

Thanks Duchy - have to see what hubbie says! Am so excited it's unbelievable - can't stop refreching this page to see what new info is on here as so far you guys have all found me cheap flights, cheap stay at Encore and cheap restaurant certificates! Can you tell me which numbers to play too!!!

Received in an e-mail from Expedia:

"Your exclusive 15% voucher* can be used on your next Hotel booking. Your voucher is valid until 30/04/2010, for travel until the 31/08/2010!"

    BQ1W-XZ04-1BDE-6KMZ

Note, it does say 'exclusive' so unsure if it can be used more than once. I'm not going away till November so I hope it can be of use to someone else.

    Hi all,

Thanks to Chyna for posting the above code. HOWEVER, I have just tried to use it and allows me to do so until payment page then says, "our records show that this code has already been used".

Such a shame as I was going to book my Orleans 9 night stay through them. Direct with hotel will be $400 (approx £267) with expedia £266 then 15% off = £231 (then 7.25% cashback via quidco = £16.50 - would bring total to £214.50.

Then the code doesnt work - darn it!!!

Fingers crossed I get one myself.. How did you get it Chyna?

Steff You must have club coast card i guess as you have been there before?

If you have, have you registered it in their website (B connected) I have got loads of offers on there including 2 comp nights (any 2 nights thru to OCT) and while logged in I can get extra nights for $29 and then my wife could get 2 free nights as well, If you havent looked it may well be worth it

am looking to book a helicopter tour of the grand canyon, anyone got an opinion between booking with papillon or viator, they seem to be coming up the cheapest for me, also is it worth the extra money to land and do the champagne picnic option? thanks

    photome,
    Thanks so much for posting.

I saw your post the other day about the two free nights for registering your ClubCoast card. I registered mine ages ago BUT was excited cos I hadnt registered OH, so I did so right away!

Unfortunately, the only deal that came up for him was two free nights in Feb, March and April - which was a bit of a waste of time really as we are going in July!!

SUCH a shame, cos that would have brought our total down a lot!!
It seems we keep just missing out on the offers at mo! But, cant complain have a great flight price and a great price for encore via atlaschoise.
Also, thankfully, we ordered £1k of currency when the rate was $1.65 to £ at Crown - that was good timing (I hope!).

If you come across any non-specific deals for Orleans then pls let us know - thanks!
    Steff :)

    Hi gracie,

Me and OH did the papillon helicopter tour in 2008 and adored it.
A few on here arent overly impressed with the canyon, but I certainly was!

We had the limo pick up at our hotel then the heli over hoover dam, land at the canyon and picnic & champagne. Was amazing.

To actually land and be able to walk round (and, of course, take a little of the canyon home with you) was, for me, an experience of a lifetime.
I would do again in a heartbeat. I really want to do the boat on the Colorado River, but it adds up to quite a bit. I think my brother is considering doing it all when he comes with us in July (for the wedding) - I will be VERY jealous :)

    Good luck with your planning.
