I am not sure about all the different routes as there are so many, it may be better for you to check all the usual sites, Kayak, Opodo etc and I hope you get sorted. Or ring someone like Dial a Flight

On a positive note I read on saturday that BA intend to keep running ALL long haul flights from gatwick during the strike, On the news tonight they said that BA will offer more info on flights affected tomorrow.

    Hope it turns out OK

I thought that link would take you to a search i had done but it doesnt seem to, It should show Gatwick to Vegas, with 2 stops and then Miami to Gatwick with 2 stops on the dates you need for £670 each...a lot but it is an option

Kayak brings up Hrow to LAS with 2 stops and Miami to Hrow with 1 stop for £542 on your dates

flying out on 26th May with Thomas cook. We are flying premium but just wondering if anyone has had experiance of flying with them or premier class anytime recently?
This will be my 1st time in vegas and cannot wait to go! this website has been a god send!!!
    Thanks guys in advance!

I flew Manchester - Vegas in their upgraded seats last August. Way out was great we got the 2 front seats, masses of room in front of us. Seats arent massive, but its comfortable enough, quite a small area and plenty of staff, who all seamed pleasant enough. Im not the best flyer and always drink quite a bit at the start to "calm the nerves", there was a decent selection of drinks.

We where getting married so had the free extra case with us (a nice touch too - think it was a 3rd case upto 20kg), and the girl was very chatty at check in and said let me try and get you extra leg room which was good.

Way back they had us seating miles away from each other (a nice man on the plane offered to swap). Then his IFE didnt work, i offered to swap back but he said it was ok. I felt terrible though!!! A couple of the IFE wherent working on the way back.

All in all, id use them again

Thanks for that, puts my mind at rest a little. Im not a hugely great flyer either, chlaustrophobia reasons but wont let it stop me go anywhere. lol!!
Fingers crossed we will be sat together then. Thinking i might give them a ring and see if they can pre book some seats together.

    Thanks again

Anymore views would be much welcomed.
  • I think they charge to pre book - but if you can get the front seats it'd be worth it.

    the seating is 2 - 3 - 2 i think (actually might be 2 - 4 -2), but you've a good chance of being in a pair.

We had loads of people fly out and a few of them sat in the normal seats, I couldnt have managed them tbh, they looked pretty cramped, so you've made a good choice upgrading in my opinion.

    Enjoy your trip :D

Quick question - when I booked our flights with Delta (direct through their website) it let us pick what seats we wanted. However, I noticed someone earlier say that you can only pick seats if you are part of their frequent flyer club or something (which we aren't). We aren't picky, we just want two seats together, with one by a window. Does this mean that the seats they allowed me to pick online are not going to be ours? When can we definitely pick our seats?

Relax-you've picked them-they are yours :) probably worth signing up for miles anyway though (it's free on the website)

None of this UK carrier nonsense of not been able to reserve in advance with most US airlines :)

  • Hi all

Am heading out to Vegas with a couple of friends of mine in mid-June and we're looking to stay at the Encore or Venetian.

Have seen what appears to be a good deal via eBookers for the Encore - stay a minimum of 3 nights and save 33%. Deal comes out at £522 for people in a Resort Suite King.

Sound like a good deal? I'll also get 7% cashback via Quidco too so this is looking very tempting...

Not seeing any decent deals on the Venetian/Palazzo yet - perhaps a bit too early?

    Hi

I am going on 2nd June with Thomas Cook, premium economy.

I haven't flown PE with them before but last year went to Florida with First Choice so I am expecting it to be quite similar. There isn't a massive amount of extra room but every bit helps on such a long flight. I like that you get fast tracked through check in and we also got to use a very nice and quiet lounge in Florida (sorry, I know thats not relevant to this thread). This will be my 4th time in Vegas, I'm certain you will love it, the pictures you will have seen do not do it justice, its just an amazing place.

Yeah, both FC and Thomas Cook/MyTravel etc have 33inch seat pitch as standard nowadays on their long haul flights (more than the standard on both Virgin and BA) with an extra 5-6 inches in their Premium Economy cabins.
