Could anyone tell me if you can still cash travellers cheques at the casino cages, I haven't been to Vegas since 2007 and just wanted to check.
I am sure you can, and without ID, assuming they are dollar cheques. But have you read the spendingmoneyabroad sticky, I didnt think anyone took travellers cheques anymore.

You can use $ traveller's cheques as cash in most shops. The casino cage will change them too.

No problem using or cashing TC's. I never use them in Europe, relying on my Nationwide card, but I do take TC's for Vegas when I have ordered them in advance from CCE to lock into a good rate.

Just booked my 2 COMP nights on a Fri and Sat at Orleans in Aug, had the odd comp night before but never for my dates..wooh hoooh.

If anyone has a Club Coast card (Orleans, GoldCoast) it is worth signing in to the B connected website and checking for offers, you can get 2 free nights just for registering your Club card online.

I have ordered the bulk in TC's and the rest in cash. I have ordered about half what we expect to spend in cash (not counting meals, etc that will go on the credit card), and we will withdraw the rest using the Nationwide card.

I usually take about $300 cash and take the rest out from my Nationwide account at ATM's with my debit card....I pay for any shows/trips with my debit card as well....so I just make sure that account has plenty in it before we leave

I'm so stressed over this BA thing. Wedding in 2 weeks and I could really do without it.... We're supposed to fly on 29th London to Vegas, and then back from Miami on the 15th and it seems there's more strikes possible from the 14th April..... could it get any worse....

BA offered to move us to 26th, but our wedding is on the 27th...

Can you guys tell me the routes you're on so I can look at our options, as I need a fly to Vegas and a return from Miami. The internal ones booked via AA, non-refundable, so our dates are pretty fixed. We live in Newcastle, so London, Manchester or even Glasgow would be fine for us, as we can get there easily enough by train or flight.

I know that Delta go Gatwick, via Atlanta or Minniapolis from one of yesterday's posts.... who else should I look?

Can't get my head straight so any help advice would be good.....thanks everyone, x
Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!
