just got an email about new lion cubs at MGM.

    FYI
We have new cubs that will be at the hotel starting March 13, 2010 until July 4, 2010.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

The pairs at the back are our favorites - they only charge for them where they have added in extra legroom in those rows - It's £30 each way and IMHO worth the cost. If there isn't extra legroom in those rows then they are down to the luck of the draw - we got a pair at the back once at online check in 24-hours before - were astonished that the popped up - but worth checking.

the downside to that, you will be at the back of the immigration queue, and also the risk of your first meal choice on board not available.

Looking at that Seatexpert site (and it is the same on Seatguru), and comparing it with our US airways reservation, we are on 7G & 7H for our MAN - PHL flight in June. This was booked as economy/standard, and says this on our reservation.

    However looking at the site...
    http://seatexpert.com/seatmap/342/US_Airways_Airbus_A330-300_(International)/US-734-20100609-PHL-MAN-705-/

These seats appear to be the back row in business class?

Edit: On the US Airways seat selector, when i go to manage my reservations, we are front row in coach. Obviously something doesnt match up. Coach it is!

    Thanks so much for this!!

On each of our four trips to Vegas I have tried and failed to get photos taken with cubs!! This suits our dates for this year's trip and we will DEFINATELY have this on our "to do" list!
Fingers crossed I dont pick the day that they finish half day again! lol.

I think we might just be able to slip in under the 16 limit, even though we have a 50% higher attendance than you:)

Thanks for the thoughts on the photos, I reckon it's just about right. We've unfortunately had a slight hiccup as my poor dad has torn his Achilles tendon and is currently plastered up to the knee. This may put a cramp on things as I have to have my parents there and our date was (and hopefully still will be..) the 26th April!!

Thanks again (and sorry for all the questions!!)

    Lexis:)

    Hiya Lexis!
Any questions welcome! Its nice to have a fellow planner :)

I feel really bad for your poor Dad! I have no idea how long that takes to heal - but lets hope he gets the all clear to fly etc well before your planned date! Thats going to be complicated with booking things isnt it....?

    Morning guys

    ENCORE:-

30/6/10 - 5/7/10 the prices are as follows:-

    Atlaschoice - £425
    Netflights - £494
    Cityandshow - £609
    Travelrepublic - £631
    Hotels.com - £661

    Direct with hotel (with 25% off approx $1,129 @ 1.5) - £753.

    Steff ;)

WOW - I know they say you should NEVER re-check once booked?

WELL - I have just relooked at the price of our dates at the Encore on Atlaschoice and the price is now £655 for exactly the same dates!!

Do you think I should be worried given that on Tuesday night I paid £425 as above....?

well the worst that can happen is they can cancel the booking . Back in the first ever LV thread , Hotels.com mis priced The Wynn and several people booked it up, went and stayed and never heard anything .

but remember that mis priced offer that MGM grand put out a while back , that was direct and they did not honour it .

will keep my fingers crossed for you :)

just to add: i recently used Atlaschoice for a potential car hire in Spain . i booked it all up , but when EASYJET moved our flights to Luton i had to Amend our arrival time . the price was then jacked up by over £140 , because Atlaschoice said prices had gone up since my original booking ( even though i was picking up the same car from the same desk , just a few hours later ) .
not happy and like a true MSE member i cancelled the entire booking ( and went with surprise surprise Car hire 3000) and guess what they refunded me the original amount , not the higher amount they had charged to my CC

to be fair one one angry email and they wrote straight back to say to say sorry and refund me the outstanding amount .

unhappy about the hike in price , but at least the customer service department does exist and responds
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

.... I am hoping that its not a mis-price - just the cheapest tier rooms they can sell now all gone! You know, like superbreak - sell rooms at "x" amount, when all gone, sell them a bit more etc....
